Packing Checklist.

I'm pretty sure by now most of you already know that I'll be going to Spain for New Years pretty soon but in case you didn't you can check out my newest Life Update where I explain everything. The packing process (let me tell you, it takes a village !) began today here in my house and I thought about doing a post about packing but to be honest I'm not very good at it since I pretty much just transfer everything from my drawers to the bags and call it a day but on the bright side I never forget anything.

If you look it up online (which is what I do for almost anything in my life) I'm sure you'll be able to find numerous videos and blog posts giving you tips on how to pack and everything but since I cannot follow any of them (planning outfits ? WHAT ? HOW ?) even if my life depended on it so I decided to share with you guys the only thing I actually follow while I'm in packing, my little list, in the hopes of helping fellow travelers out there.

To some of you bringing a Kindle and Books may be a lot but the only reason I'm bringing both is because I still need to read two books for my final project and unfortunately I don't have them on the Kindle. As to the snacks, I'm completely aware that there's food on the plane (specially on a 12 hour flight) but I just like to bring my only little snacks in case I don't like the food that's being served and also because I have gastritis and plane food never helps.

I like to bring my Chargers on the hand luggage just in case my other bags gets lost and then I will at least have my phone to call the airline and my computer to entertain myself or figure something out. The Note Pad is also in there because it's a 12 hour flight and I get bored and sometimes I like to write stuff own or maybe I could have a million dollar idea.. you never know.

Phone and Headphones are there so I'll be able to listen to music, watch movies and play games. I don't go anywhere without them so it wouldn't be any different in a plane. The Scarf is to keep me warm and comfy while I sleep and also because it's freaking cold in Madrid so I want to be prepared for the european winter. Glasses are a must since I'm almost blind as a bat. I like to bring my glasses and my contact case so I can relax my eyes during the flight and put my contacts back on before landing.

And finally and most importantly the Makeup Bag. If you're going on a long flight I highly suggest going bare faced and when I say bare faced I mean it.. no concealer, powder or mascara. The plane environment is horrible for the skin, it's dry so it makes your skin produce more oils and you're on a closed place with everyone breathing the same air so adding makeup in the equation is only going to clog your pores and make you break out even more. Having said that I like to bring my makeup bag so when we are close to landing I can make myself presentable again and look pretty for my arrival.

I also want to call your attention to the liquids which is something that everybody knows but always forgets. Nowadays we're only allowed to go inside the airplane with a small quantity of liquids so just keep that in mind and remember that foundation, mascara, hand cream, face wash and all those beauty products we love to bring with us all count as "liquid" so just keep in eye on that while you're preparing your luggage because we don't want airport security to confiscate our very loved and sometimes very expensive products.
Clothes and Shoes are pretty self-explanatory and if you forget those while packing I think you should go to the doctor to see if everything is alright with you. Hair Straightener and Blow Dryer are essentials and I don't spend the night anywhere without them specially if I'm going somewhere cold because it's not a good idea to go outside with your hair wet.

I put my Skin Care products and my Hair Products in two different bags just to try to be more organized and these two things are on the checklist because once I prepared my beautiful skin care bag and left it on the bathroom instead of taking with me and I don't trust my memory since then.

Going Out Bags are required for me because I always bring a backpack with me on the plane and I don't want to go out at night for dinner or a bar with a backpack. I usually bring two extra bags, a clutch and a normal bag just to have options.

What do you bring when you're traveling ? Have you ever forgotten something ? What do you to avoid leaving something behind ?
Please leave me your answers on the comments as well as any thoughts and suggestions you might have.

I hope you all had an incredible Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you on the next one !

Merry Christmas.

I know I could have just sent a message on Twitter or on Facebook but I feel like putting it over here makes it more official and special. This post is going to short and sweet since today's not only my mom's birthday as well as Christmas eve so we're having a lot of celebration here in my house.

I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and for those of you who do not celebrate Christmas I wanna wish you Happy Holidays. I hope you all have an incredible time with your friends and family and that Santa brings to you everything you asked for and more.

I hope you all get to celebrate this wonderful day the best way possible and that if you're not with your family (like me last Christmas) you still get to celebrate it with incredible people and have a great time. I can only talk from personal experience so when I was away last year I called all my friends and close relatives to let them know that I was thinking about them and to wish them a Merry Christmas and after I got myself a drink and took my booty to the dance floor. Please don't start to cry and mope around, if you have to be away for work/study reasons your relatives and friends will understand and I'm sure they'll want you to be happy and celebrating it the best way possible.

I also wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH  to all of you who have been a part of this whole blogging experience. I've never thought I would get any visitors, let alone people commenting and connecting with me through social media. You guys are truly amazing and I couldn't thank you enough. Connecting with  you guys is the best part of having a blog and you always put a smile on my face with your kind comments.

Happy Holidays

5 Things I Dislike About Blogging

Heeeeello, everyone!

I know I've said it on my last post but I want to say it again: blogging has been one of the best experiences ever. I honestly didn't think I was going to like it so much. I never thought people would actually take time out of their days to sit down and read my posts or even comment on them. I truly appreciate every single one of you and I just wanted to say THANK YOU one more time. I know I say it at the end of every post, but it's still not enough.

Having said that, I need to point out that blogging is HARD and it takes a lot of time and work to come up with a good idea, write the entire post and also take and edit pictures. I thought it would be fun to share with you guys some of the things I really dislike about blogging. This is all in good fun. The positive aspects of blogging more than make up for the not so positive ones. If you're a fellow blogger, I'm sure you'll understand and maybe even agree with some of these!

Seriously guys, when I start writing a post it looks like I went inside a time machine and skipped three or four hours. I literally takes me that much if I'm gonna start a post from scratch and finish it at the same day. Usually, to save time I get the pictures ready the day before and after I do the writing but nonetheless it takes a loooot of time which is something that I don't have a lot of. Even now that I'm on "vacation" I always find myself busy... Today for example I had to work out, organize/clean my room and my closet, finish planning for my next trip, start washing the clothes I plan to take to the trip, finish Christmas shopping and bla bla bla..

But just like everything else in life, if you really want to do something you just make time for it.. So here I am, it's 2 am and I'm jamming to Taylor Swift and finishing up this post that will hopefully be going up later in the morning.

Before I discovered PicMonkey I used to see a lot of bloggers and youtubers with all these cute collages in their pages and I used to think : What sorcery is this and where can I learn it ? And as it turned out making cute collages really isn't that hard but editing a picture and making it look professional is not as easy as putting an Instagram filter in it (like a lot of "professional photographers" out there do) and as you can probably realize I didn't learn it yet.

Photoshop is hard and I already tried to learn in all the ways possible. I tried to teach myself 1785 times, I watch youtube tutorials about it, I tried to use my boyfriend as a teacher and nothing worked. I still haven't lost hope yet and will continue to try it but it is freaking hard and if you master that skill you should be very proud of yourself.

If I'm being honest, in high school I used to have Informatics class and the teacher actually taught was a lot about coding and things like that but I got paired with a very smart classmate who loved this things so I didn't have to do much because the girl loved to do all the assignments by herself and actually preferred if I just stayed out of the way and, at the time, I was pretty happy to do so. Well, that was a lesson learned and now I regret it because coding is kinda of hard and I could use all the help that I can get.

I know that nowadays you can pretty much Google everything but sometimes even when I'm able to find the complete code for something on a tutorial and all I have to do is copy and paste it on my template I still menage to do something wrong and it's absolutely frustrating.

Since I've started Let Me Cross Over in the beginning of the year I've learned a few things here and there but I'm not even close to being at a point where I can say that I know HTML and most of the times this little code kicks my butt.

I still haven't had to deal with haters here on the blog and I know that this is, unfortunately, quite common on the online community but I've already gotten some rude comments that I've just deleted. This all happened in the past and THANK GOD it didn't get worst and the person leaving those comments either found something better to do or started to enjoy the posts.

The internet provides us the option of hiding ourselves behind an anonymous profile and this way people feel like they can say whatever they want to whomever they want without facing the consequences. When I see people leaving hate comments on other blogs I honestly think it's jealousy because in my head there's no other explanation as to why you would want to bring someone down with your words. When I don't like someone or their behavior in a certain situation I just distance myself and I don't feel the need to scream in their faces that what they're doing seems wrong to me. Everybody has their principals, their opinions, their beliefs and their owns lives to live according to it so if you don't agree just quietly distance yourself.

Although I love social media because it's a way of connecting with other bloggers and all the amazing humans who read my posts, I always feel weird about promoting the blog on Twitter and Facebook. I don't really know why but self promotion is really awkward.. I know that a lot of people find my blog and my posts this way but to me it just doesn't feel natural. Every time I tweet about a new post I feel like I'm writing: Hey yoo, I wrote a new post ! And I follow a lot of bloggers with smart and catchy tweets about their post and I'm here like: How do you do that ? Can you teach me ?

I want to highlight here that, like I said on the title, this are things that I dislike and that could be easier in this whole experience that I've had with the blog. As I said multiple times, I love blogging, I don't see myself stopping anytime soon and the good parts completely make up for any past troubles that I've had. This post is not supposed to be something negative but just a funny way to show people that blogging is not always rainbows and butterflies.

What are the things YOU dislike about blogging ?
Have you ever had to deal with haters ?

Let's hang some more!

Thanks so much for reading and come back soon!

5 Reasons To Start Blogging.

I don't know if I said this before but it took me almost an entire year to write my first post. Blogging is something that I've always wanted to do and boyfriend was actually the one who gave me the final push and basically told me to grow some balls and just do it and I'm really happy he did. Having this blog has been one of the best experiences of my life simply because I get to sit here in my computer, write about the things that I like and talk with other people from all over the world who also enjoy the same things.

So today I decided to make this post to hopefully give some of you guys the final push you might need to finally cross off Start a Blog from your New Years resolutions list and start the new year on a positive note.
A Place To Share Your Thoughts/Talent/Experiences.

A blog can be used for countless reasons. If you're a talented makeup artist, a designer,a writer or an architect you can use it to show you're skills and your work. If you're very passionate about something (like traveling, cars or fashion) you can use it as platform to discuss the things that make you happy. Or if you're a person like me with apparently a lot of free time in your hands and you just want a place to share your experiences, thoughts and everything that you enjoy doing blogging is the way to go.

Blogging has no rules or guidelines you should follow. It's basically you're own little corner of the internet where you can talk about everything and anything. But having said that I would strongly encourage you to write about good and positive things because we already have a lot of negativity going around the online community.
Meet People With The Same Interests.

I know that meeting people online can be a little sketchy and weird for a lot of reasons but mainly because you're never quite sure with who you're talking to since the internet gives us the option to basically create a new identity when we go online. But with blogging I think you're gonna have a different experience because your passion and interests are what will bring you close to other people.

Let's use my blog for instance. I write mostly about traveling, beauty and fashion so if you happen to stumble across my blog it's probably because you're also interested in these topics and if you decide to leave a comment (YEEY !) or look me up on social media we're gonna start to connect and talk about things that interests both of us which will be awesome.
Encourages You To Try New Things.

I don't if this also happens with you guys so if you're also a blogger please let me know on the comments but sometimes I make new things just for the sake of having good pictures or good content for the blog. Blogging has made me try out new recipes, go to different places to take pictures for OOTD, try out new fashion trends and read new books. Anything that encourages me to try out new things is always a plus on my list, it makes life more fun.
 Creative Outlet.

I study International Relations which doesn't allow me to be very creative other than when I'm making a PowerPoint presentation so having this little space where I get to create things pretty much from scratch is really cool. Everything that you see around here was created by me (expect the social media icons) and maybe that's why it doesn't look very professional but being professional is not really a goal of mine.

I really enjoy creating a new template, mixing up different colors, learning a little bit about coding, making different tabs and changing this up every now and then. Nowadays we can find all the information you need with Professor Google which makes things a little easier on the non professional bloggers like me.
New Opportunities.

I don't think I need to tell you that blogging can open a lot of opportunities because you probably already know but in case you didn't know I'm here to tell you that it can. But you need to keep in mind that it takes time.. a lot of time. And that's why I think you should only start/keep blogging if you really enjoy it not because you may or may not get noticed by a big company or sent free products. Chances are that you'll be blogging for your own amusement for while until people start noticing you. Not everybody can be the next internet phenomenon like Zoella but if you stick around someone might notice you and if she made it to the top why not you ?

Do you have any advice for someone starting a blog ?
Why did you start your blog ?

Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you on the next one !

What I Want For Christmas.

'Cause baby all I want for Christmas is.. THE NAKED 3 PALETTE and a bunch of other things !

I know Christmas is not just about the presents and that spending time with your family and loved ones is waaaay more important but the Naked 3 Palette is just sooooo pretty and shiny and colorful.. hahaha

Today we're talking about presents here on the blog if you couldn't tell already. I feel like everybody has done their Gift Guides posts but since I'm horrible in suggesting gifts for other people I decided to share with you guys what I would like to receive for Christmas. And also, my boyfriend reads the blog and haven't bought my gifts yet so this could give him some ideas.
I know I'm a little late in the whole Naked bandwagon but it's because they're very expensive. I usually go for drugstore makeup or overall inexpensive brands like Kiko or Coastal Scents but because it's Christmas I thought that these would make such a great gift and I'm seriously considering getting it for my sister as well. I only found people talking great things about this palette. Seriously, I haven't found anyone saying any bad thing about it so I'm expecting it to AMAZING.

The price in Sephora was around 54 dollars so if guys find it somewhere for a lower price please let me know.
This is the same price as the Naked 3 palette and it comes with way more things so I'm kinda on the fence about what I'm asking for my parents. It comes with 5 different shades of brown/bronzy eye shadows (my favorite), a bronzer, a blush, a lipgloss, their famous Perversion mascara and the 24/7 Glide-On eye pencil that I've always wanted to try.

I think that this is a better gift if you're considering buying it for someone who loves makeup because it has so many things together for the same price as the palette. But for me I think I prefer the palette, the shades are just too pretty to pass and I don't have any palettes like this.
I got this perfume in a tiny sample size when I did some shopping in Sephora a couple of days ago and I LOVED IT. It smells amazing but I'm terrible at describing scents so if you're looking for a new perfume you should definitely go to the store and try this one out.

I used the whole sample in a week and if I didn't have already so many perfumes in my collection I would have bought it already. And that's why I'm putting this in my Christmas wishlist, I feel like gifts should be something you really want it but doesn't have the courage to spend you're own money at it.
This album is perfect and if you're looking for a gift to a young girl (or a not so young girl like me) this would be great. Taylor Swift is killing it again and I loved every single song as did my dad (the man can't stop singing "haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate"). I know that nowadays you can download pretty much everything online or just get it on iTunes but if the person you're shopping for is a TSwift fan I'm 100% sure she/he will love it.
If you're looking for a cheaper gift for a friend or sister this is it. I have not read it completely yet but I've read some parts of it and I really really like it. I've seen a lot of reviews in blogs and in magazines and everybody seems to be enjoying it.

I know that Lena Dunham is part of the TV show Girls and maybe that's why this book was a big hit but I was a little skeptical about reading it exactly for that. I didn't like Girls very much and it came as shock to me because I love pretty much all HBO series, in my opinion it was too slow, the story didn't caught my attention and there was too many sex scenes.

What's on your Christmas Wishlist ?
Please leave your answers and thoughts on the comments. I love reading them and I'm just really curious to know what you guys asked Santa for Christmas !

Thanks so much for reading !

HOW TO : Traveling On A VERY Tight Budget.

If you've been here for a while you should know by now that I absolutely love traveling, it's hands down my favorite thing to do I've been fortunate enough to be born in a family who also loves it. I've been to a fair share of cities and done a lot of planning so I know for fact that things start adding up and when you see the final cost you either freak or start buying lottery tickets hoping for the best. Ad also with the holidays just around the corner I thought this could be extra helpful because many of you might be planning something special.

So today I decided to share with you guys a couple of my tips to help you to bring the cost down so you won't be depending on the lottery result to visit the places you've always wanted to. But first I need to say that traveling is expensive and my tips are not gonna make miracles on your budget, they will  just give you a realistic help because let's face it, you're leaving the country, dealing with another currency so it will cost you.

| Hostels |

God bless the heart of the person who invented hostels. I've done a post a while ago compering Hostels and Hotels so if you have any doubts about which one you should pick you can go here and see if what I have to say helps you out.

I'm mentioning hostels right now because they tend to (not always) have the best price, specially if you're low maintenance and traveling alone because you're gonna have to share a room and a bathroom with strangers... To me it's not big deal but I know it can be for some people.

They usually have bars or pubs inside which have good and inexpensive food and drinks. The staff is also used to dealing with travelers on a budget so they always have the best tips and recommendations of places to eat, drink and shop.
| Make Your Own Meals |

I know that when you're traveling you don't want to deal with cooking or doing the dishes but I'm not saying for you to cook a whole meal in a hostel/hotel kitchen. I'm talking about breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. As soon as I get settled in my accomodation I always run to the supermarket to stock up on water, breakfast food like bread, milk, nutella, some bananas.. This way you don't have to pay a small fortune in water in a restaurant or eat breakfast at McDonald's everyday. Guys, there's no shame in pulling out your sandwich or drinking your own water when you're eating in a restaurant.
Skyscanner | Momondo

I've already mentioned this sites before and if you want tips in specifically buying the best and cheapest airplane tickets you can go here and here. In my case the most expensive things when I travel are the tickets because living in South America pretty much everywhere I go it's a 12-hour-extremely-expensive-flight.

So I always try to make sure I'm getting the cheapest price I could possibly get, every little cent counts when money is coming out of my bank account. And that's exactly what those websites do, they search partner sites and give you the cheapest price. I've personally used Skyscanner and loved it, I've not bought tickets in Momondo yet but I have a good friend of mine that swears by it. You should just visit both and see which one works better for you.
| WALK ! |

I know that in some cities public transportation can be very cheap, around one or two euros. But if you start taking the subway or the bus everywhere you go it starts adding up. And if you were considering taking a taxi you can scratch that right out of your budget.. We are poor travelers and sometimes you need to give up on comfort to be able to see more or do more.

Walking is also a great option because we all gain those annoying pounds from all the bad food we eat while we are travelling so this way you're killing two birds with one stone. You also get to see more of the city and you're also more free to change plans in case you change your mind or see something better to do.
| Cut Down The Shopping |

I am VERY guilty when it comes to shopping on travels. Here in Brazil we got our first Forever 21 this year and we still don't have a H&M so every time I travel I do a lot of damage on those stores. But you need to put things in perceptive.. Every time I would buy a new piece of clothing I would think about all the other things I could to with that money and then if I still thought I just had to have I would buy it.

As I said you need to choose what is more important when you have a tight budget. I know a lot of people would prefer to travel less with more comfort and more money to spend on things but to me it's not like that. I will happily not shop at all if that means I get to travel more and visit more places.

Are you used to travelling on a budget or you prefer to save a lot of money and splurge when you're on vacation ? Do you have any tips to share with us ?

Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon.

Reality Generation.

I'm sure everybody already saw the Paper magazine cover with Kim Kardashian showing her butt. Although I'm a very opinionated person and thoughts came rushing through my mind the second I saw it I didn't want to say anything here on the blog because it involves very strong topics such as feminism, sexuality and even motherhood.

But today while I was browsing on Youtube I came across a video about her in which she was talking about social media, sharing her life with fans and how her career was based on it. And to be honest, I don't buy it. In my opinion (very important to highlight that) and obviously everybody has their own it's just not right. When the booty shot came I thought : Ok, not cool but also not a big deal.. it's obviously very photoshoped and it doesn't even look like a real butt anymore. And then I found out that inside the magazine there pictures of her completely naked, literally front nudity. I just really don't get it, like.. WHY?

Why would a woman who makes trillions of dollars, has a clothing line, an app, this and that feels the need to appear naked in a magazine ?

I don't know about you guys but I wouldn't want to see old magazines with pictures of my mom naked for absolutely no reason other than the fact that she wanted to because she clearly doesn't need the money or the attention.. maybe she does, I don't know. And then I started thinking: Is there anything that I've done in the past that my daughter wouldn't like to see me doing? My answer to this is probably YES, I've done my fair share of mistakes but they are not recorded on the internet or in a magazine for the world to see.

Nowadays with social media and everything people feel the need to photograph and share with the world every little thing that happens in their lives and to be honest that's just not normal. If you have good internet service it takes less then 10 seconds to post a picture on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram but it stays on the internet forever even if you delete it, it's still there somewhere, somehow.

Some may think posting a picture drunk at party, in your underwear, topless, taking shots, smoking or even naked is funny and sexy now but let's take a moment to reflect on how will that look like when you're pregnant, raising a kid, looking for job or something like it.

With technology and this "reality" mindset we got used to thinking only about the now. We get more worried about what everybody else in doing and also want them all to see what we are doing at the moment and we forget about the future and the consequences. We get too caught up in how many people we can get to "like" our pictures in order to get that instant and fake sense of popularity or fame.

Reality tv is taking over our generation. We turn on the TV or buy a magazine and we only see examples of things that should not be done. Teen pregnancy became glamorous, showing your ass became worthy of breaking the internet,  drama became the main ingredient of every successful reality show and a sex tape became the beginning of a successful career. We began to worship people simply because of the size of their bank accounts, broadcasting a reckless lifestyle and making people famous for all the bad choices they've made in life and also once they get famous they use their fame to promote even worst behavior.

And WHY you might ask ? BECAUSE PEOPLE BUY IT. Teen Mom wouldn't be on the air if people didn't watch it and a magazine wouldn't ask Kim Kardashian to pose naked if they didn't expect it to sell. Someone's heartbreak, bad decisions or mistakes should not be considered a commodity and be broadcast but unfortunately they are. People started to realize that this kind of behavior makes someone famous nowadays so they started to broadcast their own little "reality show" using social media. You don't need to be "famous" to be rich or successful and people are forgetting that.

Just to summarize, I don't have anything against Kim Kardashian personally. I don't really have an opinion formed on her and, from what I can tell, she's not doing anyone any harm. It's her body and if she wants to walk around naked, she's allowed to. This is just something that really shocked me and that I thought it was completely unnecessary. But, maybe that was the point.. I mean, her career is based on always being on the media and being the fresh topic of celebrity news.

I know it's not fair of us to consider celebrities as role models, I mean they are just people living their lives like us. But, whether you want it or not, when you become this famous your behavior matters and it sets an example. I just don't think that's the best example she could be setting for girls and boys out there.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

Let's hang some more!

Thanks so much for reading and come back soon!

Where I was Last Christmas.. ROME !

As me and my mom were getting our Christmas shopping done earlier today she said : I'm so glad you're here with me and I don't have to do all of this alone like I did last year while you were freezing in Italy. Although I am indeed very happy to be spending Christmas in the hot Brazilian summer I have to say that spending Christmas in Rome was an AMAZING experience.

I don't know about you guys but I am a very religious person so getting to watch the Midnight Mass in front of the St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican was one of the highlights of my year. We weren't able to get inside but from what I've heard all you have to do is send a letter to the Vatican earlier in the year and if they still have available sits you'll be more than welcomed.

I'm not gonna get caught up on all my religious babble because I really could write an entire post about it but I wanna make this one about Rome. I just want to remind you all again that these kinds of traveling posts that I do are all about my experience in each city that I visit with lots of pictures and revolving around my opinion. I'm not a professional tour guide or anything like that even though I would very much like to be.

Starting from the beginning.. I flew in from Nice (where I was studying) to met a friend of mine in Rome. Since I was already inside Europe the flight was quite cheap, I don't remember the exact amount but it was for sure less than 100 euros and the flight was from EasyJet which a could recommend enough. I've never had problems with this airline and if you're traveling inside Europe they always offer the cheapest tickets.

We stayed in a hostel called The Yellow which was quite nice. They had a great bar with some good and inexpensive food and drinks and also a very cool "underground" little club. I stayed in a mixed (boys and girls) room because I booked my trip very late and they only had mixed rooms available but my friend stayed in a all girls room which I think it's waaaay better and if you're a girl traveling with friends or alone you should always try to stay in an all-girls room. The staff was very friendly and helpful which was also a plus.

Now let's talk about the city. I visited Rome two times, first with my parents and the second was last year in Christmas with my friend. I'm gonna try to put pictures from only the second trip but if I don't find good ones I might use pictures from my first trip so don't be alarmed if I look younger in some of the pictures.

| El Coliseo
Let's start with the most famous. The Colosseum is definitely a must see when you're in Rome and it's truly breathtaking. I'm very into History but I kinda hate Museums so getting to be inside such an historical and being able to see with your own eyes is really wonderful. The first time when I went with my parents we got the little audio guide which really helps you out. They have numbers spread throughout the place so you just press the number on your audio guide and listen to all the explanation related to that certain area.

I believe that with the Colosseum ticket you also get access to the Forum but you should check it out just to be sure. It's located right across from the Colosseum and from there you get a perfect view from the Forum. This place is also incredible and I loved exploring the ruins of such an historical place. I'm not gonna talk to much about the history behind it and if you'd like to learn more about it you can check their website which is something that I highly suggest doing before actually going there because if you don't know anything about it it'll just look like random old stones of the ground.

This place is absolutely breathtaking and I literally cried the first time I saw. First of all, it's HUGE and, to be honest, I was not expecting it to be that big. In my opinion the best part of the day to visit this place in the end of the afternoon, this way you get to see it in the morning light and at night as they turn on the lights.

You should also be very careful once you're there because that's the pickpocket's favorite place and tourist are always the best target so keep yo bag close to you and don't leave money or expensive things on your pockets. That place is always so packed with tourists and people trying to sell you stuff so get ready for the crowd and to fight for the perfect picture spot.

As I'm writing this post I see that it's getting very big and since I want to put as many pictures as I can I think it's best if I divide it into two parts (just like I did with the London posts) so this is obviously going to be Part I and later this week or on the weekend I'll put up Part II in which I'm gonna talk about the Vatican, the Midnight Mass and other places we got to visit.

Have you ever been to Rome or Italy ? Would you like to go ?
I hope you're all having a great day !
Thank you so much reading and I'll see you soon.
