Blogs I'm Loving.

Well, it has been a long long time (too long) since I've done one of these posts and today as I was going through some of the blogs that I check on a daily/weekly basis I realized that there were a lot of new ones on the mix and I wanted to share them with you guys because I think you might like them too.

When I find a new blog that gets my attention I want everyone to also love it and follow it too. There are so many talented and creative girls out there and if I can help them to spread the word out on their work even if it's just a little bit I will. And it also helps you guys in case you were looking some great new blogs to follow.

Now that we got the blogs covered and you already browsed through them a little (at least I hope you did) I wanted to ask your opinion on a new idea I had. I thought that if the bloggers actually talked a little bit about their blogs on this post it would make it more interesting for the readers to know what the blog is all about, their main focus and style. Nothing big, just a small paragraph.

So, in case you're interested in being featured on the next post all you have to do it let me know.. yes, it's that easy. You can comment on the blog or tweet me to let me know if you're interested, I'll check out your blog and we go from there.

What did you think about the blogs ?
Do you have any blogs to recommend us ?

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to hear from you.

Drugstore Haul.

I did some damage at a little store here in Madrid called BodyBell and if any of you happen to visit this city I would highly recommend checking it out. Everything was so organized, the lady who helped me was awesome and it's located three blocks away from Sebastian's apartment which I interpreted as a divine sign telling me shop.

I went to the store because I was looking for a good daily moisturizer with SPF since my Clean&Clear Morning Glow is almost over and I've been wanting to try something new for a while (I've been using the same moisturizer for almost 2 years now). For the first time in my life I went into a store and actually bought what I went in for and I also got a bunch of other things that I didn't need but I did want.

1. Neutrogena Deep Clean Makeup Remover

As you guys saw on my last empties post I finished up my beloved Neutrogena's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover so I was in need of a new one and I decided to try out something new. Since I loved the last one so much I thought that I would stick with Neutrogena on the eye makeup remover area and I have to say that I was not dissapointed.

I've already tried this one out a couple of times and it really works. The only difference between them is the scent (this one has a weird smell that I'm not quite sure how to describe it - #helpful) and the consistency since this one is a cream and the other is more watery. Both of them work wonders it's just a matter of personal preference.

2. Schwarzkopf Gliss Oil Elixir

I don't know what is wrong with me but I forgot to pack a hair oil on my suitcase and I only have like 6 or 7 in my house just waiting to be used. But anyway.. I had o get something since my hair was crying for help and I'm really glad with this purchase. It's nothing incredible or life changing but will do until I arrive home to my Moroccan Oil.

3. TRESemmé Moisture Shampoo and Conditionner

I got this little set because the shampoo and conditioner that I brought with me have Keratin in it and I read somewhere that it's not good to wash your hair repeatedly with products that have Keratin in it. So when I was shopping I just decided to pick these up since they were just one euro each.

I'm already a big fan of TRESemmé hair products so I already knew I was going to like this set but if you're looking for a good everyday shampoo and conditioner I would highly recommend these. They work great, smell great and are reasonably cheap.

4. Nivea Aqua Effect Daily Moisturizer SPF15

This was actually what I came in for and I'm very please with this purchase. I've been using this moisturizer for two days now and I have nothing bad to say about it. I love the smell, it moisturizes the skin without making it oily, it has SPF and it says on the packing that it fights wrinkles. I know I'm only 22 but it's never to early to fight the aging process.

5. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I justified this purchase to myself by reminding me that I didn't bring my Bioderma with me so I kinda needed it. It was actually a great deal since I got this product and the BB Cream for only 7 euros (#WIN). I only used it twice so I can't say which one I prefer but a review post comparing these two products will be up soon.

6.Garnier BB Cream in Medium

I haven't had the chance to try this one out yet but I have high expectations. I remember when this came out and all the bloggers and youtubers were going crazy over this so I'm expecting fireworks. If you have tried this BB Cream already please let me know your thoughts about it on the comments.

7. Nivea Original Cream

I love this cream so much but I haven't used it in years so when I saw it in the store for only 3 euros I had to get and I feel in love with this all over again. What I love about it is that you can apply it pretty much everywhere in your body.. Your face, arms, legs, feet.. The only thing I would say is that if you're planning to use this as a face cream make sure you apply it at night or a couple of hours before you do your makeup because it takes a while for your skin to absorb it.

So this is the end of the haul guys. If you'd like to see a more in depth review of any of the products mentioned just let me know on the comments and I'll be happy to do it for you. If you have any recommendations of new drugstore products that I should try let me know on the comments too.

What are your latest drugstore purchases ?
Have you tried any of these products ?

Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you on the next one !

5 Quick and Easy Ways To Make Your Blog More Personal.

If you're writing a personal blog I believe that one of the many challenges (yes, there are a lot of challenges in this path !) is to make your template look little bit more you so it'll reflect more of your personality. If you're using the Blogger platform (like me) or Wordpress (like other bloggers out there) they will give you some staple template options for you to choose and after you go from there.

I've already done many tutorials of some tips and tricks that you can implement on your blog to spice things up here and there but in today's post I'm gonna gather up 5 easy fixes that you can try out right on your blog if you've just began blogging to motivate you a little and to help you show more of you're personality and what you're blog is all about to your readers.

This post is kind of a sequel to a previous one called "5 Reasons To Start Blogging" in which I tried to motivate some of you guys that needed a little push to start your own blog so in case any of you actually started blogging around that time I hope today's post helps you out in the begging of this journey and keeps you more excited about it.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about you should check out one of my previous posts where I not only explain you what a Favicon is but I also teach you how to make your own.

This is such a small change but I think it makes a big difference. It makes your blog looks more professional, more personal and also more beautiful 'cause I don't know about you guys but I can't stand that orange B from Blogger.

2. Personalized Signature
I know you can always write you name at the end of each post and call it a day but in my opinion a personalized signature makes all the difference. It gives a specially touch and also another cute thing to look at it.

There are a couple of different ways you can do this. First you're gonna have to go to a website or Photoshop and design your signature. I personally use PicMonkey to do all of my photo editing stuff but there are other options like Canva and many more.. You just need to find one that you're comfortable with.

And then after you did whatever you want with your signature you just make sure you save it in a transparent background and post the picture of you signature at the end of each post. I prefer to do it that way because I like to change my signature a lot and make it more festive according to the holidays but if you're looking for something more permanent you can check out this link and it'll take you to a super quick and easy tutorial.

3. Social Media To The Rescue
Let's face it.. Social media is a big part of blogging and if you want your blog to be recognized nowadays you need to use Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and all that jazz. You can always put the links to your social platforms at the end of each post but to make it look cuter and more appealing to the readers you can display them in icons on your sidebar or wherever you feel like it.

I already explained how to do it in a previous post so if you're interest in implementing this on your blog you can just go over to this post and I'lltake you step by step.

4. Personalized Profile Picture

I know that Blogger already offers you a profile gadget but I wanted something different, cuter and more original. I think this is the easiest thing to do on this list and you'll be done in literally 5 or 6 minutes. Just go over to PicMonkey and edit your profile picture.. You make it a circle, a square, a heart, add greetings like I did or just edit some stuff out.

When you're done just go over to PhotoBucket, upload your picture and get the "Direct Link" to the picture and replace it on the code below and after you just put it whenever you feel like it in your layout using the HTML gadget.

5. Banner

Your banner is the first thing people see when they visit your blog so you should make it accordingly to your blog theme, because it just looks odd if you're starting a cooking blog and you banner has a lot of makeup items.. It makes people confused.

Making a banner is also very easy and I'll recommend using PicMonkey again (no, they don't pay me to recommend their website but they totally should). They only thing you need to pay close attention to is the size of it because you want it to fit nicely on your blog template. So just go Blogger>Customize>Adjust Width and get the exact dimensions of your blog and after you can just have fun exploring your creativity.

I believe that a cute and creative banner makes all the difference in the world and it only takes a couple of minutes to make. You can always just right something creative and put a picture on the background but it's just not the same thing..

Have you recently started a blog ? Did you like the tips ?
If you get the chance to use any of the tips I've mentioned please let me know on the comments so I can go and check out your blog.

I hope this post was helpful to some of you.
Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you soon.

OOTD: Lazy Sunday.

If you follow me on Twitter (if you don't you totally should) you already know how I spent today's afternoon.. Watching Youtube videos with a big jar of Nutella in my hands. Since I started the day in that glorious way I decided to get my ass out of bed and actually do something with my life for the rest of day. I don't know what is it about Sundays that always makes me feel like doing absolutely nothing other than watching stuff on the computer.

So with a lot of effort and encouragement words from my boyfriend I rolled out of bed, took a shower and he treated me with a late lunch at our new favorite Chinese restaurant and we took profit of our time out of the house to take some outfit pictures. This outfit includes all of my "lazy day" staples like colorful pants (to make it look like I put effort into the outfit), comfy sweater (it feels like I'm being hugged by a blanket) and my go-to parka.

Pants - H&M (also styled here)
Sweater - H&M (also styled here)
Parka - Pimkie (also style here, here and here)
Earrings - Forever21
Bag - Primark
Nail Polish - Kiko Milano

Did you like the outfit ? Would you wear it ?
What's your go-to Lazy Day outfit ?
Please leave you thoughts and answers on the comments 'cause
I really want to know what you guys wear on your lazy days.

Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you soon !

Photo Diary: Madrid.

I've been in Madrid for exactly 27 days now so I thought I'd be fun to share with you guys some pictures of the adventures we had so far. I decided to do this post as a Photo Diary because we went to a lot of places and talking about each of them individually might become a little boring but if you guys are planning a trip or would like more information on some of the locations I'll be more than happy to talk more in depth about them and clear out any doubts you might have.

Another thing that I feel like it needs to be said is that the pictures are not in any particular order.. I'm just looking through them on the computer and picking out the best ones. I may or may not do a second post like this because I do have so many pictures but we'll just see how this one goes first and then we decided.

Parque Del Retiro

Puerta De Alcalá

Fuente Cibeles

Edificio Metrópolis |

Palacio Real

Plaza Oriente

Círculo de Bellas Artes |

I hope you guys enjoyed looking at little bits of my trip so far. Madrid is an absolutely beautiful city and I'm sure my "photographing skills" (Do I have any ?) did not do it justice. I honestly wish I could live here and I'm sooo jealous of boyfriend who gets to walk around these streets every single day.

Have you ever been to Madrid ? Do you want to visit ?
Do you live here ?

Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon !

OOTD: Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas.

I know I haven't been the most consistent blogger these past few days but I believe most of you already know that I'm in Madrid visiting my boyfriend so I've been trying to spend as much time as I can with him since we don't get a lot of quality time together on a daily basis. But today his classes started again so I had the afternoon all to myself and I spent it shopping, eating pizza, reading and finally BLOGGING !

I decided to put together an outfit of the day post because we took some great pictures this morning when we were walking around the city for a while before he had to go to class. We went to a place called Plaza de Toros De Las Ventas (such big name, no?) which is one of the most famous bullrings in Spain. We don't actually support that kind of entertainment but everybody told that it was such a beautiful monument that we had go see fro ourselves and take some pictures.

About the outift.. First thing I feel like I need to address is the hat. I'm so in love with this hat that Sebastian said that it's starting to get creepy. For people who are used to wearing hats this is probably not a big deal but in my case this is the first hat I've ever bought and I'm loving every single minute. I decided to wear it today simply because I love it so much and because my hair was looking awful.

Some of you may have already seen this parka on other OOTD posts because I wear it a lot.. waaay to much honestly. But today the parka and the sweater were a must since it was freaking freezing in this city and I'm doing my best to stay alive (it's probably not that cold but I'm not used to this weather.. I'm from South America, guys !).

It may not look like on the pictures but I'm actually wearing to leggings and I decided to pair them with those burgundy (please correct me if I'm wrong) shoes because I knew we were going to be walking a lot and I wanted to be comfy and keep my feet warm.
 Hat - H&M
Parka - Pimkie
Sweater - Tally Weijl
Leggings - Forever21
Shoes - Primark
T-Shirt - Lefties
Necklace - Primark

Did you like the outfit ? Would you wear it ?
Please leave me your answers and thought on the comments.
I love hearing from you guys.
Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you on the next one !

Links I'm Loving + Little Life Update.

I know I haven't posted in a couple of days but this time I have a good (?) excuse for it. I got a terrible kind of stomach flu and felt like I was pretty much dying. If you ask Sebastian, he's gonna tell you I'm overreacting but I honestly felt horrible and couldn't even walk on the first day which sucks since I'm currently in Madrid visiting him. At the end of the day it wasn't really a big deal, the insurance doctor came to the apartment and it took me just 2 days to start to feel better but the first 2 days were horrible.

But now that we got that covered I also wanted to talk to you guys about some links I've been loving lately and since I haven't done one of these in a while I thought it was the perfect post for today. Because of the stomach flu I stayed almost 4 entire days in bed asking God why He punishes good people and also browsing the internet like it was my job so I got some pretty good links for this post.

I found her channel randomly while I was watching something else on Youtube and I'm very glad I did. She is not the typical kind of Youtuber I would watch but somehow I found myself watching pretty much all of her recent videos. She's a single mom with two adoooooorable (I'm not exagerating they're adooorable) kids and she makes videos about her life, her real life (it's getting kind of hard to find someone like this on Youtube these days) and maybe that's why I was so entertained with her videos. She shares recipes (my favorite videos), vlogs about her life experiences, her ex-husband, dating and a bunch of other stuff.

I think most of you guys will enjoy watching her. I know that some of the topics she covers (like divorce) are directed to a more older audience but if you're younger I feel like you can still enjoy all the other videos she makes and I honestly believe she deservers waaaaay more subscribers than she has at the moment.

A friend of mine told me about this website yesterday and I thought it was too cool not to share here on the blog. All you have to do is to go on their website and apply for one of the "dream jobs" they have over there and get as many people you can to vote for you to win.

They have so many cool destinations like South America, Hawaii and also a position to be a CBS Producer... WHAAAAAT ? You guys should definitely check it out and since most of my readers also have blogs (with more readers than mine) I thought maybe you guys would be interested and will be more likely to get more votes. If you do apply to anything on there PLEASE let me know so I can vote for you.

Project Pan Videos

Ok, this is becoming quite a problem for me. This types of video are sooo freaking addictive and once you start watching them you're not gonna be able to stop. I don't have a specific channel I go to but my favorites are Ashley Elizabeth and MegsMakeup8

I think I enjoy this videos so much because they are a constant reminder that I have to use up my products. It's so easy to forget the products that you have and just focus on the new stuff that you're buying. It's also makes me a more conscious buyer since I can perfectly see the amount of time it takes to finish up a blush or a lipstick and this way I won't be constantly buying backups all the time.

Viooz

This is my got-to website to watch movies online. I know a lot of people think it's not cool to watch movies like this but when you have a long distance relationship and a group of friends that only likes to go clubbing websites like are a must. And also, I'm not going to movies alone.. I'm all about girl power and doing things by myself but going to the movies alone are too weird for me and my bed is waaaaay more comfy then those seats.

I hope you guys enjoy these links I've found out recently and
if you have any to share please do so in the comments and while
you're at it leave me your thoughts, opinions, hopes ans dreams.
Hearing from you guys makes my day !

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Let's Cross Over: Salamanca, Spain - PART I.

As I said on one previous post last week we spent 2 days in Salamanca and since me and Sebastian absolutely loved the city (Seriously, we were even considering renting an apartment there.) and I took so many pictures I decided to share our little adventure with you guys. I have to warn you that you're gonna see a couple of selfies.. Not because we're big fans of selfies but simply because we didn't have another option since we were obviously traveling alone. I'm considering buying that "selfie stick" that everyone is talking about but I don't really know.. I think I would feel kinda silly using it.

Like I say on all of my "Let's Cross Over" posts these posts are about the things that we did  and the places that we visited, solely based on our experience in the city kinda like a "Photo Diary". I'm sure that there are so many more things to do in Salamanca but unfortunately we did not have a lot of time there and we were in a rush to come back to Madrid for New Years.

I've already shared little bits of the trip on Instagram and Twitter so if you want to keep up with me while I'm in Spain you can follow me there 'cause I'm able to post more often. In case you already follow me I'm gonna do my best to share different pictures over here so you won't get bored.. which is not going to be that hard since I took almost 12438 pictures.

Ok, so let's get to the important things.

Salamanca is a small city located very close to Madrid. We arrived there by train and I believe it took us more or less two hours and each ticket was around 18 euros.. It's not that cheap but also not very expensive. We bought our tickets at Renfe and I totally recommend buying it there since I tried to buy it from RailEurope and they wanted to charge me almost 30 euros for a convenience fee.
Since there were no trains to come back on the same day we had to spend the night there and I'm so happy we did because after walking the entire day all I wanted to do was take a shower and sleep in a comfortable bed. We stayed at a Hostel called Salamanca Suites which I 100% recommend. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the location was awesome, right in the center of the city. The room was very comfortable, the heating worked great and the breakfast was pretty good too, nothing spectacular.

As I said before, Salamanca is a very small city so we walked everywhere and I believe it took us 30 minutes to cross the entire city on foot, just to give you an idea. We used Google Maps to guide and every time that we typed the name of a different place and it appeared "4 min walking distance" Sebastian freak out a little.

Plaza Mayor

This beautiful is the center of the city and almost all the streets lead there, making it pretty much impossible to get lost in Salamanca. As you'll be able to see on the pictures Plaza Mayor in the day and at night are two different things. When they light up all the lights it's really magical and it makes the perfect background for pictures.

You can find tons of restaurants and little cafes there to have dinner or lunch. I would recommend trying out the paella which is delicious and affordable. If you're considering eating there just keep in mind that most of the restaurants will charge you more if you choose to eat at the tables outside.. even if it's winter so just keep that in mind.

The Best Tapa's Place
Public Library
Honestly I didn't want to divide this post in two parts but when I started getting the pictures together and editing them I realized that I had many more pictures that I thought I had so now I'm thinking that making two different posts will be better 'cause I don't want you guys getting bored or something.

I hope you liked the pictures and enjoyed seeing a little bit of Salamanca through my eyes. In case you guys have any questions or thoughts you'd like to share please let me know on the comments and I'll be happy to answer.

Thanks so much for reading and I'll see you on the next one !
