Garnier X Bioderma : Cleansing Micellar Water.

I've been using Bioderma for a long long time. It has been my daily makeup remover for almost two years now and I freaking love it. All I have to do is apply a little bit on a cotton pad or a baby wipe and it dissolves the makeup in a matter of seconds. The only downside to this product is the price and the fact that it's kind of hard to find in my country (I'd have order it online and it takes a while to arrive to my house).

So when I saw a cheaper and easier to get alternative I got very excited. I bought the Garnier one when I was in Madrid last month and it was unbelievably cheap. I believe I got this and their BB Cream (review coming soon) in a little set for only 8 euros (yes, I was shocked too !). I've been trying out this one for more or less two months now and I thought it'd be cool and helpful to do comparison between both and maybe save you a few bucks next time you go shopping.

It's kinda hard to talk about price since they change dramatically given the country you're talking about. But after some research online I think that Garnier is significantly cheaper. But you also have to consider that there is always some sort of discount going on in Bioderma products and they have 100 ml more than the other. It's not a lot but it's just something to keep in mind.

Bioderma run around 30 dollars and Garnier between 10-20 dollars.

They both work in a similar way, have the same scent and consistency. I use them both in the same way (with a cotton pad) and for the same purpose (to remove makeup). From what I've experienced I think the Bioderma does a better job (nothing dramatically different) but it just works better with my skin type and it removes the makeup more smoothly.

Having said that, the Garnier one also works pretty well for me. As I said the difference between them in this case is not significant and I could get way with using the cheaper one but I think that the Bioderma works better. Maybe it's just me being picky or wanting to be fancy and use the more expensive product but I do prefer the Bioderma.

If someone asked me I would say to try both and pick which one you like more. But if you can't have the luxury to do that or you're saving up for something I would say to go with the Garnier one. The difference between them is so small that I believe you'll get the same results at the end of the day for a cheaper price.

In case you have sensitive skin or anything like that, both brands offer other options. I believe the Bioderma one for sensitive skin comes in a green and blue bottle and it has a similar price tag to the regular one.

If you still have more questions and things you'd like to know about the products I will be happy to answer them. Reviews are something new to me and I'm still trying to get the hang of it so if you have any constructive criticism please let me know on the comments.

Have used these products ? What's your opinion on them ?
How do you remove your makeup ?
Please let us know your thoughts on these products as well as any other remarks you'd like to make. I love hearing from you guys.
I hope this was somewhat helpful.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Links I'm Loving.

I have something to confess. So far my day has been a complete mess from the moment I woke up until now (the only free time I've had so far) but I still wanted to post something here for you guys so I'm going with a lazy post. I usually like to give myself time to relax on the weekends and try to run all my errands during the week but sometimes life gets messy and that's pretty much what happened today.

I forgot to set my alarm so I was late for my appointment at the gym, I had to go the supermarket after (which was completely packed), when I arrived home my mom asked me to help her out with some stuff (so I drove her around the entire afternoon) and now I'm completely exhausted.

So as I was browsing on the internet and checking out my blogger account to figure out what I would post today I realized that I still had all of these links to share with you guys. This post is going to be a mixture between some tips for bloggers, job hunting advice and organization videos.. I try to make this posts as helpful and entertaining as I can but at the end of the day I just want to share with you some interesting stuff I found online that I think you guys would enjoy too.

I don't know if you guys realized (hopefully someone did) but I've recently put a little popup box for my Facebook Page that appears the first time someone visits my blog. If you didn't know I do have a Facebook Page and it's taking me a little more time than usual to make it grow so if I could get some love over there from you guys that would be awesome. I don't really know what's up with Facebook but at least for me it's the hardest place to acquire followers and they are always trying to convince you to pay money to promote your publication but that's just not happening for me.

But back to the link, it's super easy and they go through it step by step so I don't think you'll run into any trouble if you want to implement this on your blog. I'm sure if someone will think it's annoying for something like that but if I was in someone's blog and this little box appeared I would be bothered by it so...

I really liked this video and I think it's completely different from all the other ones out there. Usually this videos are very cheesy and not helpful at all but Rachel (love her entire channel) makes some great and realistic points. Just little things that you should take into consideration and stuff that you can ACTUALLY do while you're in university to put yourself in a good direction.

I'm a messy person so I'll take all the help I can get in that department. Aside from all the house organizational videos she also has some great Planner Organization videos and I have to admit that I'm slowly getting addicted to them. I've recently got myself a planner and I'm trying to put my life on track but these people take planning to whole other level. Sometimes I think it's too much (with all the stickers, ribbons and whatnot) but it sure is entertaining. If you're trying to be more organized I think this is a good start.

Some people might be thinking: WHAAAAT ? But hey, just because we're girly girls and enjoy makeup and fashion doesn't mean we're not smart.. Am I right ? For those of you who don't know I'm majoring in International Relations (just six more months and I'm freeee) and keeping up with the world is a big part of my day (as it should be for most people) and I think this is a great way to do it.

Unfortunately, we cannot live inside our little bubble so we should take advantage of the internet not just for watching YouTube videos and reading blogs (70% of my time online) but to also learn and stay aware of what's going on in your world.

I've seen this on a couple of YouTube videos so I decided to check it out myself and I found it very interesting. After browsing the website a little bit, I discovered that it's a subscription service and you get delivered to your house fresh ingredients and recipes for you to cook by yourself. Unfortunately, I believe they only work in the US.

I'm all about learning online and this is a great platform to help us out. It offers free courses of several interesting subjects. I'm using it mainly to learn webdesign, coding and photographing to help me out with the blog but they also offer other things like Spanish, Architecture and Nutrition classes. It's just another way to use the internet other than going on Twitter and Instgram.

Did you like the links ? Do you have any links to recommend ?
Please let me know your thoughts and opinions. Your feed back is super important and I love reading your comments.

Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you on the next one.

TAG: 25 Questions.

I'm here today with another TAG post.. Shocking, right ? I believe by now all of you already know my love for TAGs and when I discovered this one a couple of days ago I just had to do it. I actually found out about it through a new YouTube channel (at least new to me) called SimplyAlexandra321. I've been loving watching here videos recently ad you should definitely go check it out if you get the chance.

This TAG is quite similar to a couple of ones I did before but I don't think I've answered any of this questions before. I've also been noticing some new readers and followers (thank you !) so I thought it would also be appropriate to do this TAG so you guys can get to know me a little better and for those of you who already know me it's a chance for us to bond a little bit more.. you can never have too much bonding (is that even English ?), right ?

1. Do you have any pets ?

I have the most adorable little cat ever and her name is Kitty. I know, pretty creative for a cat name, right ? She's my faithful companion and does pretty much everything with me. If I'm studying in my room she lays on the bed next me, if I'm eating she goes to her little bowl of food and if I'm watching TV she come to couch to watch too. Yes, we have a weird relationship.

2. Name 3 things that are close to you.

Well, I'm writing a post now so obviously my computer. My phone (which is always next me) and my planner(that currently has been living in my desk as an attempt to make me more organized).

3. What's the weather like right now ?

Don't even get me started on this weather. We're currently in Summer here in Brazil and I'm dying. It's unbelievably hot and I cannot stay 3 minutes outside without sweating like a pig (pigs sweat ?).

4. Do you drive ? If so have you crashed ?

I drive pretty much everyday and I don't think I have ever been responsible for a crash. Once a crazy motorcycle crashed into my car but it was not a big deal and the insurance covered everything. But it wasn't my fault. I consider myself a very good driver despite my boyfriend's opinion.. he just doesn't get my Fast and Furious driving style.

5. What time did you wake up this morning ?

I woke up 8:30 which is usually the time I wake up everyday. I don't have to actually go to school this semester, just write my final dissertation which I can do from my house but I still like to get out of bed early to feel more productive.

6. When was the last time you showered ?

Yesterday night. Call me crazy but I shower every single day.

7. What was the last movie you saw ?

The last movie I saw was a musical called "The Last Five Years" with Anna Kendrick and I loved it. If you're not a big fan of musicals I think you should skip this one because there is a LOT of singing.

8. What does your last text message say ?

My last text message is from my dad and he texted me while he was waiting for me at the airport when I arrived from Madrid to ask me if I had already gotten my luggage.

9. What's your ringtone ?

I don't even know honestly. My phone is always on vibrate.

10. Have you ever been to a different country ?

If you don't know this answer you must really be new around here and in that case: Hello, thanks for stopping by! Yes, I have been to different countries (the main focus of this blog is traveling) and if you'd like to keep up with the countries I've visit I have a little "map app" down bellow and you can also read my traveling post here on the blog.

11. Do you like sushi ?

I think they are talking about Japanese food in general and the answer is I FREAKING LOVE IT. If you follow me on Twitter you already know that since I post pictures every time I go to a Japanese restaurant which is pretty often.

12. Where do you buy your groceries ?

I'm currently living with my parents so they do all the grocery shopping for me. The only thing I buy is chocolate or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and I usually do that at a little store at the mall I usually go to.

13. Have you ever taken medication to help you fall asleep faster?

Yes, but I'm not sure if it's considered medication because it was an all nature herbal thing.

14. How many siblings do you have?

I have an older sister. She's 4 years older than me and she's pretty awesome. I think she's 26 right now, she just finished medical school and got married last year.

15. Do you have a desktop computer or a laptop?

I have a laptop and I'm really happy with it.
16. How old will you be turning on your next birthday?

I'll be turning 23 and I'm kind freaking out about that. Getting older is loosing it's fun for me and become borderline terrifying. Although I'm excited with the direction my life is taking me, growing up is scary.
17. Do you wear contacts or glasses?

I wear contacts outside and glasses inside the house.

18. Do you color your hair?

I did some ombre on my hair with a L'Oreal kit I got in the supermarket and I was very happy with it. But that's pretty much it, I've never colored my entire hair. I actually really like my hair the way it is so I don't think I ever will.

19. Tell me something you are planning to do today.

I'm planning to go to the gym. Don't know if I'll actually make it to the gym but it's definitely in the plans.. I even wrote it in my planner to make it official.

20. When was the last time you cried?

I don't even know.. I don't cry that often. But it probably was watching a movie.
21. What is your perfect pizza topping?

I like my pizza with tons of topping. My favorite pizza is the one I do it myself where I just throw everything I have in the fridge together.

22. Which do you prefer-hamburgers or cheeseburgers?

Cheeseburgers. Does anyone prefer hamburgers ?
23. Have you ever had an all-nighter?

I've had many all-nighters. Some studying, some partying and some just watching movies in my computer. I used to have a pretty hard time falling asleep.
24. What is your eye color?

My eyes are brown. Nothing fancy or different just plain brown.
25. Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke?

It's been years since I've drank any of them so I don't think I can taste the different. I'm not a big healthy fanatic but sodas are disgusting and terrible for your body so just stay away from them.

These are all the questions I'm answering today and I hope you guys enjoyed it or at least found it entertaining. If you get the chance to do this TAG on your blog please let me know on the comments so I can go check it out.

Thanks so much reading.

Open To Suggestions.

For the past week I've been wanting to change a couple of things on the blog but I don't really know what specifically. I really like my design the way it is and I feel like it matches my personality (and also it strangely matches my room perfectly) and all but I also think it's just too girly and feminine. When I started the blog I didn't want to make something completely targeted to girls and beauty.. the main focus was supposed to be in my passion for traveling hence the name "Let Me Cross Over". But my love for beauty and fashion started to take over and when I realized my entire blog was pink and girly.

I'm not complaining (I was the one designing everything obviously) but I just think it's time for a change so I thought: Who can I turn to for inspiration and advice on this matter ? And the first thing that came to my mind was YOU guys. You're the ones that come here as often as I do (maybe not as often) so I thought at least some of you might have some suggestions and constructive criticism to share with me as I take on this new project.
I also feel like right now is the best time for me to do this since next month I'm going to start a new course and my life is going to be a big mess and I'll be completely stressed out.. I'm always so positive about the future. I'm also not planning to do anything crazy, I want to change mainly the color scheme and try out a new banner. I'm gonna stick with the old passport stamps I have now 'cause I love them but I'll try to put them in a different way if that makes any sense.

Another thing I would like to change over here is to start writing my posts in portuguese as well as in english. So what I'm about to say next is going be target to all of my portugese speaking readers:
Oi gente,

You guys don't need to worry about anything 'cause I'll keep writing about the same things like beauty, makeup, traveling, fashion and some other weird posts I do about my life, the only thing that's going to be changed is the design and hopefully for the best. So to recap my questions after all this rambling, what I want you guys to tell me is:

What do you think I should change ?
What color scheme would you recommend for a not-so-girly blog ?
Any ideas for a new banner ?
Do you like the design the way it is ?

If you guys could help me out answering this question it would be amazing and also feel free to share any other suggestions you might have. Thank you for following along as "Let Me Cross Over" keeps growing and evolving and remember that your feedback is extremely important.

Thanks for reading.
Muito obrigado por lerem.

Products I've Used Up | Empties

It has been quite a while since my last empties post so I thought it was only fair that I would do a new one. I've been collecting these products for the last four months and I think I did quite well. Using up my beauty products is going to be one of the main goals I have for this year and I do intend on starting a Project Pan soon, I just need to narrow it down to 10 products and take the time to make a post here on the blog to make it official.

The amount of beauty products and makeup I have on my counters has become ridiculous and I just need to use somethings up before they go bad or get expired. This month I did a great job on the hair section but not so good makeup wise. I know that using up a shampoo is way faster than a lipstick but I just need to put more effort into using the makeup that I have. Here in Brazil it's currently summer and wearing a full face of makeup it's just not possible for me.

1. Bioderma Solution Micellaire

I know this product is really popular in the beauty community and for a reason. It's just amazing and I believe it's the second bottle I've used up. There are multiple uses for this but I use it as my daily makeup remover. I just pour a little bit on a baby wipe and apply it all over the face including the eye area.

It's very gentle and I would highly recommend this for everyone looking for a good makeup remover specially if you have sensitive skin. I know it's a little pricey but you get half a liter of product and it's going to last you forever, trust me.

Repurchase ? I already have a backup.

2. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Smooth

I LOVE THIS THING. It's the best deep conditioner I've ever tried.. It's makes my hair feel incredibly smooth and hydrated and it's unbelievably cheap. I feel like everyone talks about this product and you've probably heard everything that could be said about it so I won't say anything else. It's AMAZING.

Repurchase ? YES !

3. I love.. Mango & Papaya Nourishing Body Butter

My boyfriend gave me this one for my birthday last year and I really enjoyed using it. It was a good moisturizer for an everyday use and I overall liked it but I didn't feel anything special about it. It's nothing life changing but it wasn't bad either. But if you really like the scent of mango you're gonna loooove this 'cause the scent is super strong.

Repurchase ? No.
4. Herbal Essences Shampoo in The Sleeker The Butter

I really really liked this shampoo. I could totally see the difference when I used this in the shower 'cause look shiny, smooth and straighter than ever. The scent was AMAZING and the price was even better (I believe I paid only 3 dollars for this one when I was in the US). If you can get your hands on this shampoo I would highly recommend it.

Repurchase ? Totally.

5. Dove Body Lotion Hydro Nourishment for Normal Skin

The only thing I didn't like about this one was the consistency. I don't know if all Dove lotions are like this but this one was incredibly watery. I really liked the scent and it did moisturize my skin but I just can't deal with that consistency. I like my lotions to be a little bit more thick 'cause I just feel like it's more nourishing and that one looked like I was apply scented water on my skin.

Repurchase ? Nope.

6. VS So Sexy Nourish Conditioner for Dry/Damaged Hair

I love Victoria's Secret hair products and I don't see a lot of people talking about them. This shampoo is one of my favorites, the scent is amazing and every time I use this it looks like I just got out of the salon. I know this is a bit pricey but to me it's worthy since I never (ever) go to the salon so I kinda justify the price because of that.

Repurchase ? I still have a couple of shampoos to go through but YES.
7. Avene Couvrance Mascara for Sensitive Eyes in Black

This is just a little sample that my dad got when he bought his eye cream (yes, my dad uses eye cream) so he just gave it to me since he obviously wouldn't use it and I'm very glad he did. This was an amazing mascara and it did everything I wanted on my lashes. It gave them volume, it separated them and it was super black.

Repurchase ? I'm gonna say maybe 'cause I don't know the full price yet.

8. Acetone

Just some simple acetone. I do my nails every week so I go through this like crazy. I do not like nail polish remover 'cause I feel like it doesn't take off the nail polish, it just spreads it around. I know a lot of people say it's bad for your hands and I even heard people saying it was illegal to buy but I just get it in my local drugstore and I still haven't got arrested so I'll just keep buying this until someone says I can't.

It does drys your fingers a little bit but nothing that a good hand cream can't fix and if you're a beauty junkie like me you probably have 8 hand creams laying around the house so just put them to good use.

Repurchase ? Yes.

9. Clean&Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

I love Clean&Clean skincare and this product is no different. If you have dry skin it's probably not the best moisturizer for you but for my extremely oily skin it's a perfect match. I'll usually put this on before my night time moisturizer or before I apply my makeup if I'm going out at night.

If you're considering buying this product just remember that it does has Salicylic Acid. I don't have any problem with that but I know some people my have a different reaction.

Repurchase ? Already have a backup.

What are some of the products you've used up recently ?
Do you have any recommendations ?
Please leave your answers and comments down below.
I love hearing from you guys and I'm always looking for new products to try.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

What having a blog is to me.

I've recently been thinking a lot about life and blogging. Mainly the role of this blog in my life. I think it's so funny how something that is supposed to be a hobby and just a way to relax my mind when I'm stressed out has been recently working it's way into my everyday to do list and has actually become as important as working out and studying on my daily life.

The outcome of all that thinking is this little text. And just like everything else over here it's based on my personal experience so I don't expect you guys to agree with everything that I wrote specially because we're all different so our experiences with blogging will be different and that's the beauty of it. It doesn't matter how many blogs there are out there because they'll all be different because they're run by different people (exception: crazy/brave people who can actually menage more than one blog).

What having a blog is to me.

Having a blog is a roller coaster ride. Some days you wake up super motivated and feeling like people enjoy reading what you have to say and others you just think: "Nobody reads this any way".

Having a blog is like having a little dirty secret that you don't mind telling the whole world through the internet but you just can't tell people in real life (at least not in the beginning).

Having a blog is hard work. When someone reads your posts they have no idea the amount of hours you've spent writing, editing pictures and working your creativity.

Having a blog is a two way street. Is something you do it for yourself but it looses the fun if you do it alone. The readers have no idea how important they are.

Having a blog is connecting with people from all over the world based solely on common interests.

Having a blog is having a hobby that you secretly wish it could be a full-time job.

Having a blog is having a place where it's 100% acceptable to be selfish. It's place where people come to know about YOUR experiences and YOUR opinion.

Having a blog is sharing little pieces of your life with strangers and feeling like they're your friends.

Having a blog is thinking about having a blog 24/7. Because when you're not writing a post you're constantly thinking about you're gonna write next.

Having a blog is seeing the world with a new pair of eyes, the blogging eyes. The world becomes more colorful and you start noticing things you've never noticed before.

Having a blog is doubting yourself in every post you publish. Because you can't possibly know how your readers are going to react and you can't possibly know what attracted them to you in the first place.

Having a blog is having your little personal corner of the World Wide Web.

Having a blog is having a voice. A voice to send out a message to the world whichever it may be so make sure it's positive and inspiring.

Having a blog is believing in yourself even when the numbers (or even people) tell you otherwise. Because everybody needs to start somewhere.

What having a blog is to you ?

Thank you so much for reading.

Favorite Youtube Videos Of The Week. #1

I know that most bloggers right now are posting something about Valentine's Day but unfortunately this is not a date we celebrate here in my country and even if we did I wouldn't have much of a choice in how I would spend it since my significant other is currently leaving in another continent.

So, given those circumstances I decided to share with you guys today my favorite YouTube videos of the week. This is a post that I've been wanting to do for so long since I'm a BIG fan of YouTube and I watch way more videos than I actually should. I thought this would be a cool way to introduce you guys to some channels that you might not be familiar with yet and also to just share so good videos that hopefully some of you will enjoy.

In case you're also spending Valentine's Day solo like me grab a snack and some ice tea and just have a quite and fun evening to yourself or invite your friends over and make it girls night in.

This video came out yesterday and if you haven't watched it yet I don't know what you were doing for the last 24 hours. Being a BIG T-Swift fan I freaked out a little on Twitter (if you don't follow me you definitely should so we can freak out together over this important things) and watched it over and over again. I already loved the music but having the music video too takes the experience to whole other level.

If you guys didn't know Jimmy Fallon does this little segment on his show and every time that I watch it I laugh so much. He just starts a new hashtag on Twitter and after shares some of his favorite twits. It never fails to make me laugh so I thought some of you guys might enjoy it too.

If you like drugstore makeup like me, you definitely should subscribe to EleventhGorgeous. They always share the new products that are available at the drugstore and also have other great videos like tutorials and all that jazz. What I really like about them is their personality, they're always happy and excited and that puts me a in a good mood.

I thought this video was so true and also so funny. It was really well made and I believe that everyone that's in a relationship will relate to it. Specially the part where they're trying to figure out where to go out to eat..

By now I think everybody already knows about my love for empties. I love watching videos and reading blogposts about it. I don't think the regular human being would understand the satisfaction that comes from finishing a product but us bloggers will get it.

So this are my favorite videos of the week. It's really hard to narrow it down to a couple videos because I'm subscribed to a lot of channels. If you have any recommendations of videos or channels that we should check out please leave it in the comments.

Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you on the next one !

HOW TO: Get Over A TERRIBLE Breakup .

First of all let me assure you guys that everything is great between me and Sebastian and we're not planning on breaking up anytime soon. The idea for this post came to me yesterday after I got a call from a very close friend of mine telling me she broke up with her boyfriend after staying together for 4 years.. yes, 4 years ! In her case nobody cheated and it was actually a very "clean" breakup in which they just agree to go their separate ways.

But in my opinion it doesn't really matter how it ends because when it's over it's over and there's no point in looking back and thinking about "how it could have been" and what you would have done differently or even "what are you're gonna do now without him or her. In case you're asking yourself that last question you can stop now because I have the answer for you: YOU'RE JUST GONNA LIVE YOUR LIFE. You're life should not be defined by your romantic relationships and honestly you do not need anyone..

I know that having a boyfriend/girlfriend is amazing. I have a boyfriend myself and although we make plans together in case we decide to go our separate ways in the future (I really hope that doesn't happen but it can happen) I will not die or be lost, I'm just gonna keep moving forward and keep trying to achieve the plans I already had.

I've been through many breakups before and I know that it's all easier said then done. So I thought it'd be cool share with you guys a couple of things you can do to get your mind out of it and to slowly get over that stupid guy who broke you heart.

Specially if he's the one who wanted to break things up in the first place. Calling him is not gonna do you any good and there's really nothing to be said after a breakup. You both are sad and heartbroken so it's better to just get over it first and after if you still have something to say to him you can do that.. but just give yourself time to get over it first. And also, you don't want to risk calling him just to know that he's actually doing very well without you and you're the only one feeling miserable.. So it's best to just give it some time.

While you're giving yourself time to heal you should definitely do something, anything really.. Go for a walk, work out, do your nails, watch a movie (no romance or drama), start a blog, read a book, start a new project.. it doesn't really matter what but I think it's important to keep your mind busy and not just sit on the couch thinking about him. And if you can menage to do something productive that will better your life and yourself it's always a plus.

My first and only terrible breakup (the other ones were easier) happened when I was in the last year of high school and like I said it was terrible. I think he cheated on me (he never admitted) and he said horrible things to me (like 'I would never get a another boyfriend 'cause I was a horrible person') and I believed him. But I didn't want to sit around and think about these things 'cause they were making me sad so I just started to study. Yes, we were in the end of summer break and I started to study like a maniac and that actually helped.. A LOT. I kept my mind busy and focused on what was important and the whole teenage relationship drama fell to the background. When school started again I got the best grades I got in the entire year and that guy didn't seem very important after. Of course there were times where I wanted to cry and mope around but when those feelings came I just called a friend or baked brownies (do not recommend the last one).

I've been rambling a lot but my point is to just keep yourself busy with things that are good for you.. like working out, studying or starting a new project. At the end of the day life is too short to waste time with people who don't care about you.

And when I say go out I mean it. Get ready, do your hair, your makeup, paint your nails and choose a great outfit. Go out for drinks, to a club or even shopping. Seeing and talking to new people will make you realize that your ex is not the only guy in the world and specially that he's not the only guy that is interest in you. I'm not saying for you to look for a new relationship 'cause I think we all need to give ourselves time to get over someone and finding a new boyfriend is not the way to go but to just talk and HAVE FUN.

I say this in the sense of getting ready in the morning like showering, doing your makeup and making yourself look presentable. If you look like crap you'll start to feel like crap and that doesn't help anyone specially if you're going through a breakup. It is forbidden and unacceptable to stay in your pajamas the entire day.

Because it'll just remind you of the good times you guys spent together and make you forget all the bad things and the reasons that made you breakup. I don't know about you guys but even now that I have a boyfriend I still get kind of sad when I listen to those super romantic songs just because he's not here right now so I just avoid them. So no watching "The Notebook" or "The Fault In Our Start" and stay away from the Nutella.

Why would you give yourself more reasons to feel upset about something ? So if you're in the look out for new songs 'cause your iTunes is filled with Ed Sheeran's most romantic songs I would recommend "Shake It Off" from Taylor Swift and "This Is How We Do" from Katy Perry. Happy and upbeat songs will put you in a better mood, trust me.

And now I'm kind of contracting myself but not really.. I just want to tell you that it's OK to be sad. It doesn't matter how long you were in the relationship or how old you are every breakup sucks and it's completely understandable and acceptable for you to feel sad sometimes. But not always. I think the trick is to give yourself time to feel all the emotions and then when you're ready flip the page and try to not look back.

The tips/advice that I shared here today are pretty much what I just told my friend when she called. I know that everyone is different and has their way of getting over stuff but this tips were just to help you out in case your feeling lost or like you don't know where to go. I hope this was helpful.
