Introducing My New Series: Life Lessons.

I've recently had the idea of making a little series here on the blog. I've never done something like this before so I'm gonna count on you guys for feedback. But I just thought it would be interesting to share some of the things I've learned in life and turning it into a little series makes it more fun, at least in my opinion. I don't know if I'll make it into a weekly thing or just do it whenever inspiration strikes. All I know is that I'm planning to start it on May.

I'm also not set on all the topics yet, I have about 3 or 4 picked out but if you'd like to suggest something or tell us something you want advice on or maybe just wants to know my opinion about I'm totally opened to it. All I know is that I'm planning on writing about things that I've gone through like trying to fit in and struggling to be yourself and also about more debating topics that I'm very passionate about. I want to guys to keep in my mind that all I'll be doing is sharing my thoughts and my opinion and that we're all entitled to disagree with each other.

I like to believe that I've acquired some sort knowledge from my past experiences in the short amount of years I've been on this planet. I've had my heart broken multiple times (four to be exact), I've gained and lost a lot of friends over many (some stupid and some not so stupid) reasons, I've doubted myself more times than I can count, I've traveled the world trying to "find myself" and I've also had a pretty hard time struggling with self esteem. Unless you're some kind of super evolved human being, I'm sure you have also been trough similar things.

Those are things we'll be discussing on this little series and I can't wait to get started. I want to start doing something more positive and meaningful with the blog and I think that this is great start. I'll still keep my regular posting schedule and throw on a little mix of makeup and clothes here and there because, let's face it, I love talking about theses things as well.

So that's pretty much it, guys. Please leave any suggestions you might have on the comments. Some topics you'd like to see being discussed, a schedule you'd prefer as well as any other suggestion you might have. We're opened to discussion. The first post will be up on the first week of April and we'll just go from there.

Thank you so much for reading.

Current Working Out Playlist.

Ever since I've started to incorporate healthier habits into my everyday life I've been wanting to write some posts about it to share my experience and my new habits. But since it's been only a couple of months since I've started this Healthy Project (yes, that's what I'm calling it) I thought it was a better idea to wait some more and see what kind of results I'll get from it before I start telling you guys about it.

So today we're starting small (taking baby steps) and I thought it'd be fun to share my current working out playlist because exercising and being active is good for you no matter what and having good music to pump you up can do no wrong. I don't know about you guys but I'm very picky about the songs I listen to when I'm at the gym because they pretty much dictate my mood and the intensity of the work outs I'm doing. For example, slow songs make me go slower and upbeat songs make me push myself harder.

I've picked all of these songs on Spotify (who is not sponsoring me although I wish they were) besides the Taylor Swift songs because her songs are not there anymore and I'm very sad about it. T-Swift I love you but bring your songs back to Spotify, please.

Anyway, if you guys don't know, Spotify is an app which you can download to your phone and you pay a certain amount of money to listen to unlimited songs. I know there are other apps out there that do the same thing but Spotify is just what works best for me.

1. Headlights - Robin Schulz

3. I Really Like You - Carly Rae Jepsen

4. Shut Up and Dance - Walk The Moon

5. Bang Bang - Jessie J

6. Flawless Remix - Beyoncé

7. 7/11 - Beyoncé

8. Stole the Show - Kygo

9. Ignition - Phoebe Ryan

10. Four Five Seconds - Rihanna

11. Animals - Maroon Five

12. Slow Down - Selena Gomez

13. Hold My Hand - Jess Glynne

14. Can't Stop Dancin' - Becky G

15. Lights Go Down - The Jane Doze

16. California Girls - NoMBe

17. Firestone - Kygo

18. Nothing Really Matters - Mr. Probz

19. Outside - Calvin Harris

20. Blame It On The Night - Clavin Harries feat. John Newman

So this is my current working out playlist. Please leave me any suggestions you guys might have because I'm always looking for new songs and although I love all of the ones I've mentioned, I tend to get tired of them very fast.

What's your favorite song for working out ?

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Shoud I Blog More ? Do I Want To Be A Full Time Blogger ?

These are questions I ask myself all the time. And although I do not have any more free time to spare, it still bothers me sometimes. I need to keep reminding myself that in my case blogging is supposed to be a hobby. Of course I would love to turn this blog into something bigger but right now it's not possible and I know that and that's not the thing that frustrates me.

The problem is that I'm a little perfectionist and in my mind, if I'm gonna set myself to do something I might as well do it right. I hate leaving things half done and I always think that I can improve myself and do a better job. But, do I need to do a better job ? Isn't what I'm doing right now good ? I know I'm doing the best that I can, so why do I feel like it's not enough ?

Nowadays there's a trillion bloggers out there and I love that about the internet. It gives us a space to share our minds and makes our voices be heard. But it also gives us a lot of opportunities to compare ourselves to others and although I know in the back of my mind that I shouldn't do it and that I don't know half of the struggles they went through to get where they are, sometimes, I just can't help it.

I guess I could describe this little quarter life crises I'm having as: I'm not quite sure about what I want to do and I'm feeling like I don't have control of my life so I decided to control the few things that are 100% up to me and blogging is one of them. I mean.. I know this is a hobby and I still want to turn it into something more but right now I feel like I need to focus on other aspects of my life as well.

Once I read an article online and I don't remember what the whole thing was all about but the message stood out clear to me and it got imprinted on my brain: What are you willing to do to do the things that you truly want to do ? And that's pretty much the crossroad that I am at right now.

What am I willing to do to pursue my ultimate goal ? And what makes it worst is that I'm not so sure what my ultimate goal is. Don't worry, I'll not turn this post into a whole oh-my-good-I'm-growing-up-and-freaking-out kind of thing.. Today is all about blogging. And I think the fact is that I'm not so sure being a full time blogger is my ultimate goal (don't get me wrong it must be an awesome job and I completely understand why everyone loves it) and that sometimes feels like cheating, because why do it if you're not planning to go all the way ?

In my case, I do it because I like it. I love having this little space, connect with you guys and share my thoughts. That's why I always say that reading your comments is the best part of this. Because although I do it for myself (it's not like I'm doing charity over here) sharing this experience with people who have the same interests and who enjoy the content I'm putting out there is priceless. Literally priceless because I'm not making a dime out of it at the moment and that is ok. I'm not mad about it.. It was just supposed to be a little joke.

But I guess what I was trying to say is that I'm kind of confused with what direction I want go with the blog. I don't want people to get mad or anything because I will continue to do the same thing as always, be the same person and I'll still blog. This was just something I needed to get out of my chest. And I also don't want anyone pissed if one day in the far future I do become a full time blogger.

Just take this post for what it is, just a little heart-to-heart and me sharing with you the confusion that goes on inside my brain. I do these posts because sometimes writing it all down helps me clear my mind and some of you always have good advice for me. So if you're wiser and older this would be a good time to speak up and impart some wisdom on me.

Thank you so much for reading.
I really appreciate it.

April Empties | Products I've Used Up.

I think Empties are my favorite thing to read/watch in the online beauty community. I find them oddly motivating and tend to trust someone's review more when they finish the entire product.. I'm not a big fan of first impressions.

I've been collecting these empties for while now (since my last empties post) and although I haven't finished a lot of products I decided it was better to do it now and have my next empties post be an update on my Project Pan, so I won't be featuring those products in here.

I always try to finish as many beauty products as I can as fast as can because I like to get my money's worth out of them and also because I like to see products rotating in my closet. I hate to look at the same stuff for a long time so I avoid buying new products before I finish the previous one. If you check out my closet (where I keep most of my skin/body products) or makeup collection you won't see a lot of multiples of anything. I've been trying to live a more minimalist lifestyle but that is a topic for another post and in this one we're just focusing on the empties.
1. Acetone

I've been doing my own nails since forever (I believe I went to get my nails done only 3 times in my entire life) and I do them quite often, from one to two times a week so I go through acetone like crazy.

I'm not a big fan of nail polish remover simply because I feel like they just spread the nail polish around and don't remove anything. I know acetone can dry your nails and everything but I menage to work with it and if I put on a base coat first there's no problem.

Repurchase? YES!

2. Clean&Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent (Toner)

I still haven't found a Clean&Clear product that I don't like. This toner was really good and I used it mainly to make sure I took off all of my makeup before applying my night time moisturizer and I also noticed that it helped with breakouts. One thing that I need to say is that my skin is very oily and not sensitive at all. So if you have dry and sensitive skin I think you should be careful with this product because it is very strong.

Repurchase? YES!

3. I love.. Mango and Papaya Shower Gel

My boyfriend actually gave this to me as one of my birthday presents the first year we've met so you can say that I loved it a lot for sentimental reasons. But judging it for what it is I have to say that it's an ok shower gel.

It's not very moisturizing like the Dove ones (my favorite) but it also doesn't strip your skin and leaves you feeling dry. One the bright side, I really liked the scent and it left me feeling a little energized if that makes any sense.

Repurchase? No.

4. Bath and Body Works Body Lotion in Moonlight Path

I love these little BBW's body lotions. I always get them on clearance and I still haven't found a scent that I don't like. They're very moisturizing and this scent in particular is one of my favorites. They're also the perfect size for traveling and for keeping on your purse.

Repurchase? YES!

5. Instant Hand Sanitizer in Strawberry.

I got this one in the Dollar Store last time I was in the US and I really like it. I don't have a lot to say about it since I'm not very picky when it comes to hand sanitizers. I do prefer the ones from BBW but this one did the job and the scent was not overpowering.
6. Garnier Triple Nutrition Dryness Reversal Treatment

I loved this deep conditioner probably because it's very similar to the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, which I also love. I used this in the shower instead of applying my regular conditioner. I did noticed that my hair was shinier and smoother. I would recommend this for everyone.

Repurchase? YES!

7. TRESemmé Intense Hydration Shampoo

I really like TRESemmé products. This one was a great everyday shampoo. Nothing fancy or note worthy but it worked really well on my hair and I will continually to repurchase their shampoo.

Repurchase? YES!

8. TRESemmé Intense Hydration Conditioner

Same thing as the shampoo. Nothing mind blowing but a great everyday conditioner.

Repurchase? YES!

9. Batiste Dry Shampoo Clean & Classic Original

My favorite dry shampoo of all time and I'm really said to say goodbye. It worked wonders in my hair, absorbing the oils and giving it volume. Even since I cut my hair short I've been trying out a lot of expensive volumizing products but nothing works as well as this dry shampoo.

Repurchase? I already have a backup.

10. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

My all time favorite moisturizer. I like this product because you can use it everywhere. I used it all over my body as well as in my face as night cream. I would just warn you that it is a very thick cream so I wouldn't recommend it as a morning moisturizer but besides that I don't have anything negative to say about it.

Repurchase? Always.

So, these are my empties. I hope you guys enjoyed reading about my "beauty trash". I tried to be as helpful as could with the mini reviews but if you'd like to see a more in depth review of any of the products mentioned please let me know on the comments and I'll be happy to do it for you.

Have you finished anything good this month?

Let's hang some more!

Thanks so much for reading and come back soon!

Book Review: We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.

I was a little torn about reviewing this book because I think you should start reading it without knowing anything about it. But since I really enjoyed this story I really wanted to share it with you guys and give my own opinion on it. This is a very mysterious book and quite different from what I'm used to reading.

The story is told by the main character, Cadance Sinclair. She is part of a very wealthy and dysfunctional family and they spend every summer on their personal island. She spends most of her time there with her cousins, Johnny and Mirren, and a friend of theirs called, Gatt. Their little group is called the Liars and to be honest with you I still haven't figure out why.. It's not like they lie that often and even after the whole mystery unfolds I still don't feel like calling them the Liars makes a lot of sense.

Anyway, in one of the summers they get together on the island an accident happens and Cadence is found alone unconscious at the beach at night. After she goes though a lot of medical exams, the doctors diagnose her with some sort of post traumatic disorder and she starts having very strong migraines.

Until she can go back to island and talk to the Liars in the summer, she starts sending them emails and little gifts and they all seem to ignore her. But the summer after her accident her mom decided that instead of going to the island, she was going to spend the summer traveling with her dad. While she is traveling with her dad she keeps sending email to the Liars but she still doesn't get any answers.

During all this time she has no recollection of what happened that summer and why she was found at the beach alone that night. The next year she is allowed to go to the island again where she finally gets to see the Liars. Her entire family was instructed to not talk about the accident with her since the doctors thought it would better if the memory came to her in her own time.

While she's in the island she tries to put the pieces back together and remember what happened. And by being there and talking with the Liars her memories start to come back and she finally remembers the whole thing.

Now that we covered the story let me share some of my thoughts. First of all, I need to say that I loved the book. It's a great story and read everything is one sitting. I could not put the book down and I just needed to know what happened.

One the other hand, I wasn't really a big fan of E. Lockhart's writing style. Once you read the book you'll realize what I'm talking about. His writing reminds of poetry, with short and repeated sentence. I'm no expert in literature but I'm pretty sure he use it for a reason, to make you feel the emotions the characters were going throw and to immerse you in the book.

Another thing that really stood out to me was the way he used metaphors. They were really strong and confusing at times. Confusing to a point where I needed to take a step back and reread the sentence again to check if that was really happening or not.

But at the end, the book is great and I would totally recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries. There's also some romance going on and the author touches on quite important subjects such as discrimination and the way some families crumble over money and power. I gave is a 4 out of 5 stars in GoodReads.

Have you read it already ?
If so, what did you think about it ?

Thanks so much for reading.

Links I'm Loving.

I'm here today with another installment of Links I'm Loving. If you're new around here, (according to Google Analytic I've been getting some new visitors so yeeey!) I do posts like this every so often in order to share some of the hidden gems I find online and since I spend way to much time on the internet they have become a regular thing on the blog.

I've been collecting these links for a while now and I have a bunch of cool things to share, from travelings tips to a delicious baked french fries recipe. I've been very into the whole healthy vibe lately, mostly because I've a big event coming up and I want to look good and loose some weight. I know healthy living should be lifestyle and bla bla bla but I honestly just want to loose some weight without starving myself. I have no idea if it'll become a lifestyle (fingers crossed) but for now I'm taking it one day at a time.

Ok, I just totally digressed and started rambling so I'm gonna stop here and if you're interested on the links just keep reading !

So what do you do when you want to loose weight ? You go to the gym. You go on the internet and look for alternative french fries recipes, because logic. But jokes aside, this is a very good recipe.

I've tried it already and I have to say that I was impressed. I've never been a very big fan of french fries before because I always felt like they didn't tasted like potatoes and I love potatoes. But this recipe is AMAZING. First time I did it I followed word for word and my entire family loved it. So if I did it (with all of my non existent kitchen skills), trust me, you can do it too.

I love Lonely Planet. I love their travel guides, their website and follow them in every social media I have. I think that even if you're not that into traveling like me, you will still find their articles interesting because they talk about different cultures and places and you don't need to like traveling to be curious about the world we live in.

But this article is targeted to people who enjoy traveling. Like the title says, it's about things you can do for free in different countries. I'm sure every traveler out there will agree that when you start adding up museum  and attractions fees traveling because very expensive. So if you're planning to go somewhere, make sure to check this list so you can save some bucks.

I'm obsessed with this website. It gives you the calories of pretty much everything eatable in the world. I'm not kidding, you can type in an specific Burger King sandwich or Starbucks drink and it magically gives you every nutrition fact and the amount of exercise you need to do to burn off the calories. Is your mind blow too ?

I'm not saying you should follow my example, because obsessing over calories is not a healthy habit but I just do it for fun really and sometimes it's also makes me think twice before ordering a cheeseburger.

I don't know if you're familiar with the Grateful Gordons YouTube channel  and if you're not you should go right now and subscribe because they are awesome. They live a very particular lifestyle and although I could never live that way (it's like they live in the jungle or something, just watch the video and you'll see what I'm talking about) I still love watching them.

I wanted to share this video in particular because it's about traveling in a very different way. Some people believe that you need to have tons of money to afford traveling and that's not the truth at all. You can travel with little to no money at all and learn to be resourceful.

Like I said before, it's not something that I believe I'm capable of or that I think I would want to do, but it's very interesting take on traveling. I'm all about saving money on extras but I need some comfort and I just hate not being certain on the money situation because this girl like to shop.

Do you have any links to share with us ?

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon.

Average or Beautiful ? Choose Beautiful.

I don't know if you have seen it or not, but there's a new Dove campaign going around (I saw it on YouTube) and after watching it I felt very inspired to write something about it over here. Dove always hits the spot with their campaigns or commercials and this one was no different. I feel like they always make sure to send an inspiring and positive message about body image and loving yourself just the way you are.

Now, I don't know if it's just a marketing play and I don't really care as long as they are sending across the right message. This time they set up signs, as you can see in the picture, in a couple of cities all over the world and waited to see which one women would choose to go through. This was all based on a research, and according to Dove, 96% of women don't consider themselves beautiful.

I don't know how accurate this data is and to be honest I don't think it really matters. But I do believe that most women in the world do not consider themselves beautiful and I completely understand why. Sometimes, I don't consider myself beautiful either and no matter how many times my mom or my boyfriend tell me that I just can't believe it.

You may think that this is all silly or that people went through the signs without even thinking. This might be true or not, I'll let you be the judge of that. But seeing women label themselves "average" just breaks my heart. Beauty is not just skin deep and even it was you should never consider yourself less than beautiful.

We all have crappy days. Sometimes our hair is just not on our team and we just feel bloated, fat and ugly.. We've all been there. But the point it's not about looking good on the outside. I think what matters here is being beautiful as whole and being comfortable in our own bodies. Because, let's face it, it's the only one we'll ever have.

If there's something you don't like about you, change it. If YOU feel like you should loose weight, loose weight. If YOU feel like your hair is dry, go to the salon. If YOU don't like your clothes, buy new ones. You need to do whatever you want to feel good about yourself and comfortable in your own skin. It's your body so you should be the one calling the shots. The only beauty standard you should try to achieve is your own.

We are all beautiful. You might think I'm just saying that but I truly believe it. Everybody has their own idea of what's beautiful and what isn't. Some people like big boobs, some like smaller, some like brown hair, some think being blonde is amazing.. We will never find a universal beauty standard and you should never, EVER, judge yourself based on other people's opinion.

When you look at yourself or at someone else on the street you can choose what you see. You can see how they treat others with kindness or you can see that their hair looks greasy. You can see their beautiful eyes or you can see that their makeup is not done properly. You can see how their hair looks amazing or you can see that their clothes are not matching. So since you can choose what you see, why not choose to see beauty ? Why not focus on the good things you and everybody else have to offer ?

In choosing to see beauty you not only make yourself feel and strive to be better but you also impact everyone around you. I believe that every single day we send a message to the world just by living our lives, make sure that yours is inspiring, positive and beautiful.

I have a challenge for you today. I challenge you to look at yourself in the mirror and choose to see 5 beautiful things about you. I don't care what it is, it can be your eyes, your legs, your character or your tan - everything counts ! This way, in case you're faced with the same question as the women in the video, you'll choose to see yourself as beautiful.

I already think you are beautiful.
Do you ?

Thank you so much for reading.

Life Update.

Hello everyone !

I like to do Life Update posts once in while just so we can catch up on what's going on in our lives, chat a little bit about it and share some experiences. My life has been quite boring these past few days, which is something that I'm happy with. Boring is all I need after the insanity that took over my life last week and the insanity that is to come in the next week. I need a week to recover and save some strength for what is to come.. And by that I mean, get to work on my final project so I can enjoy myself in the near future.

First of all, I got into a car crash last week. It was completely my fault but thankfully no serious damage was done and nobody got hurt. But it's still a pain in the ass because I had to call the insurance company, take my car to the shop which meant 2 to 3 days car-less and and deal with the other person's car, all because I left the house angry and in a bad mood. Word of advice: Never drive when you're angry.

Between all that fun stuff, I still had to work on my dissertation and that is never fun. But I'm not gonna get into much detail since I talk about it in almost every post and you guys must be tired of it.. I know I am. All you need to know is that everything is going smoothly and I'm making progress. Slow progress is still progress.

Another thing I wanted to update you guys on is my Project Pan. I haven't done a proper update post because there is not much progress going on. I don't know what's up with this products but they just seem endless and I've not been using much makeup these past few days. I will start a new course next week which will make me get out of the house more and I'll hopefully be able to get ride of somethings.

On the other hand, I've been doing some mean progress on my Reading Challenge which is awesome. I've been having so much fun reading all the books and also discovering new ones. I've just finished City Of Ashes by Cassandra Clare, the second book on the Mortal Instruments series, and I just started reading Hopeless by Colleen Hoover last night. I plan on doing another book review this week but I still haven't decided on which book.

I've also discovered a new TV show that I'm completely obsessed with. It's called the The 100 and is soooo good. I was looking for a new show to fill in the hole Pretty Little Liars left (gotta wait for the next season) and this one is doing a good job so far. The show has a very interesting premise, it's about 100 criminal teenagers who have been send back to Earth in order to check if it is survivable after a nuclear war (I guess..) wiped out the planet and human race has been living in a space station so far in to survive. Pretty crazy, pretty awesome. It already began with a love triangle going on and I'm all about that.

Now just so you guys don't think I stay the entire day watching TV and studying, I think we should talk about my whole fitness situation. I wanted to do a post about it but I'm not quite sure on how to approach this because I'm not an expert in the subject and I don't want to give you bad information in case I'm doing anything wrong. But I will start making healthy recipes posts again. I love cooking and since everything my mom cooks is either bathed in olive oil or deep fried I've having to do a lot of it.

I have been working out 5 days a week and eating super healthy on the week days. I've been seeing some results (I've lost 3 kilos so far) and I'm overall feeling waaay better than I was before I started this whole lifestyle. I just have more motivation to do things and I've also been more focused on my tasks. I try to schedule my day around the gym since I don't have much going on lately and that's why I menage to go so often. I know a lot of people don't have that luxury and you don't have to that in order to loose weight but that's just how I do it.

So I guess that's it. I've just realized that this post is quite big and I hope I haven't bored you to death. If you made it to the end let me know on the comments so I can send you a big virtual thank you hug.

What has been going on with you ? Do you have any news to share ?
Hopefully your life is more interesting than mine
and you have fun stuff to share with us.
I wanna know about you.

Thanks so much for reading.

BB Cream: Garnier X Avon.

I've been wanting to do this post since I got my hands on the Garnier BB Cream in January, but I thought it was better to wait a couple of months and try both of them a couple of times before forming an opinion. I know a lot of people don't like BB Creams because they offer a very light coverage but that's exactly why I freaking love them. The SPF is also a big plus in my opinion, since I use a BB Cream whenever I wear makeup during the day, which I have to admit is not very often.

I wasn't expecting it but Avon won this battle. Not that I don't like Avon products (I actually have quite a lot of them) but this little thing actually blew my mind.. I wasn't expecting it to be so good and blend in so well with my skin tone like it did.
I've had this product for a while now. I got it when all the BB Cream hype started and I was very skeptical about it at first. I just couldn't understand how a product that doesn't come in a lot of shades could work on different people, but apparently it does.

Like some of you might already expect, this doesn't give a lot of coverage. But it does a great job at blurring out your imperfections. I still need to go in with a concealer and some finishing powder after I apply it but to me it works wonders. And I specially like the fact that it makes your skin a little pale, that way I don't feel scared about using bronzer and blush.

If you're looking for a one-step product I don't think this it. But if your looking for an everyday base to your makeup I would highly suggest this one.
Garnier you were a big no no for me. This just didn't work. I don't know if I picked the wrong shade but I thought that since I am quite the opposite of pale I would fit in the "medium" category, but I guess I was wrong.

This product made me extremely orange, dorito-face orange. And I tried pretty much everything.. I tried mixing it with a lighter foundation as well as using a lighter powder on top but I still could not get ride of the dorito-orange color.

It also made me extremely oily, even after applying a finishing powder. I have no idea what I'm gonna do with this product but I just can't walk around the street with an orange face. Maybe I wait until the winter when I'm at my palest shade.. All I know is that this BB Cream was a big fail and I do not recommend it.

Have you guys tried these products ? What did you think about them ?
Please let me know your thoughts and opinions on the comments.
I love hearing from you guys.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

April Goals

I love April. I know a lot of people don't even pay attention to this month but in my book it's one of my favorites. First of all, we have Easter this month and this means chocolate and Easter eggs and I get to wear my bunny ears for an entire day. I also love the weather, here in my city it starts to get a little chilly and I definitely need a break from all of that Brazilian sunshine.

But we're not here to talk about why I love April. We're here to talk my #goals for this month. I'm gonna do the same thing I did in March so if you're not familiar with these posts you can go over there and check it, but the whole thing is quite simple. I'm just gonna set some big goals for this month (nothing very specific) and see how I do it. I make these posts as an attempt to make me more productive and organized and since last month was a #win (last hash tag I use in this post, I promise) I think I'll make this a monthly thing.

Read 2 books.

You might be thinking that 2 books is a very small goal but that's exactly the point. Last month I read 5 books and I felt like I was dedicating way too much time into reading and not enough time on other aspects on my life. So this month, since I'm already ahead on my Reading Challenge, I'll limit myself to only 2 books.

Work out 5 times a week.

I'm doing pretty well with the whole gym/working out thing so this goal will mostly to keep it up. I love going to the gym and I think I've already made it a habit. I go every single morning and when I can't I try to make up for it on the weekends.

Stick with my blogging schedule.

Last month I made the blogging schedule now the hard part is sticking with it. If you don't know yet, my blogging schedule will me Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So now, you know which days to expect new posts and I'm more organized with my life. I feel like blogging three times a week will be something I can do and not get super stressed out.

Get out of the house more.

I'm a total home body. I love my room and if it had a mini fridge in it I would never ever leave it. But since I'm not going to class everyday anymore I need to make a special effort to actually leave the house. I'm already going to the gym every morning which qualifies as leaving the house on the week days, but I still need to work on the weekends. I've spent the entire last weekend inside.. Yes, I stayed in Friday through Sunday and didn't even feel guilty.

Spend less time on the internet.

I feel like I'm constantly online. I know that I have a blog and I need to keep it updated and I also use the internet to study and everything but I'm sure I can cut down on the time I spend in front of the computer.

I watch waaaaay to much YouTube and spend waaaaay too much time on Instagram. This month I gonna make a conscious effort to stay away for a while. You guys don't need to worry, I won't stop blogging. But I will stop my endless scrolling through social media.

Save more money.

I think I'll be starting a Project No Buy this month but I'm still not sure if I want to do it or not. I mean, I need to save money but I don't know if I can commit to spending an entire month without spending. I'll think some more about the idea and let you guys know soon, but with the project or not, I'm still going to save money during this month and limit my shopping.

One of my best friends volunteers every Friday on a local public daycare center for small kinds and she has been inviting me to go with her for ages now and I always find an excuse. This month I intend to change this and go with her at least one day.

What are your goals for this month ?

Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you soon.

Books I Want To Read Soon.

Today I'm writing another post about books ! Shocking, right ? I've been a reading kick lately. This reading challenge has really took over my mind and I'm reading book after book after book.. I don't know if that is a good thing necessarily (It is better than watching TV, I guess..) because I do have other things to do other than laying in bed and reading all day. Does anyone know of a job where I get paid to do this ? If so, you've got to let me know.

But jokes aside, I've been very into the whole "bookish internet community" and I have discovered so many books that I desperately want to get to, so I decided to list them all for you guys and we can, hopefully, bond over this. You can tell me what books you've read, what books you want to read as well as leave me any recommendations of books you think I should read, I love recommendations.

I've actually already started this one but since I've just read five pages I thought I could include it here. This book is magical.. Seriously, magical. The first page got me completely hooked and the more I want to read this book the less I want it to end.

Although I'm loving the 5 pages I already read, I have to say that the title is completely miss leading. This book is not about a circus. I don't really know what this book is about but I'm guessing some sort of battle magic power amazingness.

I've already seen 3 people online say this book was their favorite book so I decided to pick it up the last time I was in my local bookstore. Although the cover and the pictures inside are a little creepy and scary, I was completely intrigued by them and decided to give this one a go.

I also have no idea what this book is about but if I had to guess I'd say some kind of orphanage for quirky kids with special abilities. I'm pretty this is going to be one of the books I'll want to do a review after I read it, so make sure you read the review and let's see if I got it right.

Gillian Flynn blew my mind with Gone Girl and Dark Places so I really want to read this book. Again, I have no idea what this book is about and I'd like to keep it that way. I wanna be surprise as the events unfold and have my mind blown again.

I've saw somewhere that this book is going to become a movie just like Gone Girl so I really want to read it before the movie comes out. Because once I see the movie I can't bring myself to read the book.. Knowing what's going to happen makes the book less interesting.

I've read this book when I was 15 years old and I think that because I was younger I didn't really appreciate it so I decided to give it another try. I saw the movie already so I don't know how this is going to be but I saw it so long ago that I don't believe I remember much. The whole church thing really intrigues and I people say that Dan Brown does a great job exploring this subject and I really want to read more books from him.

It looks like everybody has already read this book around the BookTube community and most of them really liked it. The reviews on GoodReads are also pretty good and since I'm in the look for a good trilogy I decided to give this one a go. I'm not really sure what this one is about (as you can see I like to read the books without knowing anything about the story) but I know that there's something about a kingdom and wars and I haven't read a book like this in a while.

Ever since I've read The Summer I Turned Pretty I've been loving books that take place at the beach. There's just something about the whole beach scene that I completely adore and I since this book also takes place at the beach and the cover is so beautiful I think I'm going to really enjoy it.

I don't know but about it but I think the story revolves around a couple and their relationship but I'm pretty sure there's more to it. If you read it please no spoilers.

I've saw the movie Maze Runner and it ends one a complete cliff hanger. I just need to know what happens next so I decided to read this one next. I'm not gonna read the Maze Runner simply because I already know what happens and I don't really feel like reading, but this story got me completely sucked in and now I want to read the rest of the series.

The synopses and the cover completely sold me on this one. I also haven't read any books from this author so I'm very interested to know if he can keep me glued to the book. I'm assuming this is a suspense or some sort of thriller and I'm really interested is this genre lately so, hopefully, I'll love it.

This book is everywhere. Everybody is talking about it all over the internet and I just have to read it. The cover is soooo beautiful and I think that that is what has drawn me to the book. I tried to purchase it in my local bookstore but they were completely out of stock so I'll probably just read it in my Kindle, which is good thing since I tend to read fasted with the Kindle.

This are all the books on my TBR list at the moment (it increases by the minute). If you want to keep up with my reading make sure you follow me on GoodReads. I daily update my reading progress and it'll be like we're reading together !

Have you read any of the books ? Do you have any recommendations ?
Let me know your answers in the comments.

Thank you so much for reading.
