Links I'm Loving.

Happy Monday, friends!

Well, it's been a while since I've done a Links I'm Loving and I don't know about you guys but I've missed it. I like talking about cool stuff I find online and I think this time I found some pretty good links. We have mix of funny videos, work out motivation and cool blog posts. I'm gonna try to be more consistent with these but I can't promise anything. Actually, let me know on the comments if you'd like to see more Links I'm Loving. So, without further rambling.. Let's get to the fun stuff!

Well, if you don't know Amy Young you should. I'm pretty sure she's a "life coach" (forgive my ignorance but I don't know the right name for that) and as well as having her own business she also makes videos on YouTube. I've been subscribed to her channel for months now and I sometimes mention one of her videos over here. This is one of them and O M G, if you're single and dating right now WATCH THIS. It literally changed my life and I'm not being dramatic.

This week has been pretty hectic and I didn't have time to go to the gym at all so Blogilates was a savior. Whenever I had some time to spare I would pop on one of the videos and just do it on my room. If you feel like you never have time to work, you should definitely check out her channel and try it out.

I scream laughed watching this video and until now just thinking about it makes me chuckle. I didn't know who James Corden was or that he had a show until this video popped on my YouTube suggestions page. He's so incredibly funny and he texting Leonardo DiCaprio from JLo's phone (you know from the block) was one of the funniest things I've watched this week . Seriously, if you haven't watched this go watch it.. NOW.

This post really resonated with me. It's about how sometimes when our friends are going through something they tend monopolize the conversation about their problems and forget about us. I've been there (on both sides) and it was good to read some tips about how to handle this kind of situation.

I've been following Jessica's blog for a while now and I love her posts but this one stood out to me recently. She talks about social media and how no matter how many followers you have you can still feel lonely and sometimes interacting with people over there can feel empty and shallow. It was a really good post and it really made me think - highly recommend checking it out.

What are some the links you've been loving lately?
Let me know on the comments your answers, thoughts and opinions.
I love hearing from you!

Thanks so much for reading.

Monthly Empties | April, 2016.

And we're back with the Empties! YAY!

Ok, I know this is not an excuse but this past month was insane. I moved houses AGAIN (second time this year) and if you ever had to move in your life you know how stressful it is. I couldn't find my empties bag for days and when I did there were a lot of products missing. But you know.. Life happens and we're not going to stress over this (again). The important thing is that I'm here writing, you're here reading and I still managed to go through 12 beauty products.

I didn't finish a lot of makeup items this time simply because I haven't been wearing that much makeup lately. All I've been doing is going to class (who needs makeup for that, right?), studying, reading and packing my entire life in boxes. The good thing is that I haven't been buying much makeup also, I believe the only makeup item I got this month was a liquid lipstick 'cause I wanted to know what the hype was all about. But enough with the rambling.. Let's get to the empties!

Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipstick in Pillow with SPF 15: I wan't a big fan of this lipstick. I like the color (it was a very cool toned light pink) and I love the fact that it has SPF in it. But the formula wasn't my favorite. It didn't last very long on the lips and it transferred like crazy.

Kiko Lipstick in #92: Loved this lipstick. I'm a very big fan of Kiko products and I even did a review of all the products I have from them back in the day. My biggest problem with it was the color and I blame myself for picking the wrong shade. That's probably why it took me so long to finish it. This one was also on a very old Project Pan so I'm really proud of myself for finishing it.

Givenchy Phenomen's Eyes Mascara in Black: Another oldie. I don't even remember when I got it but with the move I rediscovered it but it was already completely dry. I remember not liking it that much but I can't give you a good "review".. All I know is that I wasn't a big fan.

Rimmel Sexy Curves Waterproof Mascara in Black: It was ok - not good not bad. I mostly used this for my bottom lashes and it did the job. It wasn't clumpy but it took me a while to get all the lashes separated and looking good.

Victoria's Secret Sparkling Shadow in Twinkled Pink: This product is so old and I don't think they even make it anymore. If I'm not mistaken, I got this when I was 15 and I'm 23 now so you do the math. I also mentioned this on my Products I Regret Buying and as you can imagine I really disliked it. I finished it because I had a costume party to attend and one of my friends was going as a fairy so she pretty much bathed in it so she could sparkle. It wasn't a very good idea (it took her 3 showers to get it all of) but it did the "job".

Avon Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Black: I really liked this eyeliner. I only use liquid eyeliner to go out so I haven't tried that many to compare with but this one was good. It's really black and opaque and it was really easy to apply and get a good wing. I've already repurchased.
Find it here!

Risqué Technology base coat: This is my all time favorite base coat. I'm not sure where you can get this outside of Brazil but here I get it at the drugstore and it's super inexpensive. This makes my nails strong and I'm pretty sure this is what makes my nail polish last on my nails. I highly recommend it.

Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow Quad in Seashells: I liked this. They weren't my favorite cream shadows in the world but I did use them on a daily basis. My biggest problem with them was the creasing. I had to set them with something otherwise they would crease in two seconds. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and if I'm being honest I only used this because I was trying to get it out of my collection.

Dove Beauty Cream Wash Hand Soap: I actually got this thinking it was body wash and since I'm not a big fan of liquid soaps that's exactly what I used this for. And it was surprisingly good. It was moisturizing, I liked the scent and it made me feel very clean. Although I wouldn't recommend using hand soaps as body wash, this one did the job.

Bath and Body Works PocketBac in Winter Cranberry: I love the BBW PocketBacs and since I've got so many of them (got them on a huge sale) I will continue to use it. But all in all, they do the same job as any hand sanitizer you get and the Dollar Three or any drugstore. Although I like the fact that these smell good sometimes the scent can get a little overpowering, especially when you have to re-apply it throughout the day.

Aussie Conditioner in Moist: Love love love Aussie's products, especially their conditioners and the 3 Minute Miracle. This one was very moisturizing, it left my hair smelling amazing and super soft. Someone actually asked me what perfume I was wearing one day and I wasn't wearing any, it was the conditioner. Can't recommend it enough.

That's all for today, guys! I hope you enjoyed the post and please let me know if you've done a recent empties post or video because I love reading/watching them. Don't forget to leave me a comment to tell me your thoughts and opinions as well as any doubts or questions you might have. I love hearing from you!

What are some of you're recent empties?

Thanks so much for reading and I'll talk to you soon!

Current Work Out Playlist | #BikiniBody.

Just like every woman in the world, one of my New Years Resolutions is to "get in shape" and I promised myself that 2016 was the year. I know I say this every year but this is it, I'm not rolling this one to 2017. And I've been doing quite well actually, better than expected. I've been going to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and whenever I'm not able to do it on week days, I make sure to make up for it on the weekend.

My main goal is to just feel comfortable in my body. I wouldn't say I struggle with self-confidence and I don't think I'm extremely overweight or that I have to loose an incredible amount of weight to feel better. I just want to tone up a bit and shed a few pounds. Overall, I just want to feel and happy in my own body.

Although things have been working out and I've been loosing some weight, it's still extremely hard to go to the gym sometimes. I usually arrive home at 18:30 or 19:00 and I'm mentally and physically exhausted. One of the things that keeps me motivated and in the mood for working out is music. I don't know about you but I'm very particular with the songs I listen to when I'm working out, specially when I'm running.

It needs to be something upbeat but not annoying and if the lyrics are "inspirational" (work work work..) it's even better. So this is my current "Gym Playlist". There's a mix between hip-hop and pop, old and new and I tried really hard to keep Taylor Swift out of it because I seriously love every song (even the slow ones) and if I add those in this list would be just too long.

This Could Be Us - Rae Sremmurd.
Ain't Your Mama - Jennifer Lopez.
99 Problems - JAY Z.
Work - Rihanna.
Takes My Body Higher - Shiffy.
Candyman - Zedd.
All For You - Sister Hazel.
No Flex Zone - Rae Sremmurd.
Don't Stop Believing - Journey.
400 Lux - Lorde.
Crazy in Love - Sofia Karlberg.
Habits (Stay High) - Tove Lo.
Bad Man - Pitbull.
Drunk In The Morning - Lukas Graham.
Shower - Becky G.
YOUTH - Troye Sivan.

Well, today's post was short and sweet! I hope you guys enjoyed it and if you have something similar on your blog please let me know so I can check it out. I'm always looking for new songs. And also, I tried to do this on Spotify but I just couldn't figure it out. If someone knows how to make a public playlist over there so I can share it here on the blog please let me know as well (if it's possible).

What's your favorite song at the moment?

Thanks so much for reading.
I'll talk to you soon!

Looking for Mr. Big.

If you didn't catch it from the title, I've been re-watching Sex and The City and spending waaay too much time doing it (#noshame). As I've been following Carrie's adventures in NY I can't help but wonder when will I ever find my Mr. Big and also why can't my single life be as exciting as hers. I get it, she's a character on a TV show but still.. Being single should be fun and exciting.

If you watched the TV show and the movies you know that her single life has a happy ending and if you don't you should stop reading right now because I'm about to drop some spoilers. Well, she finally gets things right with Mr. Big and they live happily ever after in a super amazing apartment with a killer closet (I would trade Mr. Big for a closet like that anytime). And that makes me think, have I already met my Mr. Big? When will I ever meet him? And, the question that drives me crazy: How can I be sure he's the one?

I've never really believed in finding Mr. Right or "the love of my life". I've fallen in love quite sometimes and I've had some great long term relationships and although they've ended (obviously) I do believe that the person I was with at the moment was the right person for me at that moment. I don't believe there's only one person out there for you simply because you won't always be the same person. For instance, I'm a completely different person now than when I was 15 (thank God!) so I couldn't possibly be with the same boyfriend.

We change as we grow older and if the person you're with at the moment doesn't grow and change in the same direction as you it's extremely hard to stay in the relationship. But that doesn't mean he was not the right person for you, he was just not the person for you at that moment. Maybe in the future he'll be again, you know? I don't necessarily believe that people change, but I do believe they can grow.

That's why I don't think you should be hung up on finding someone to spend the rest of your life with. You should look for someone that fits your life right now and eventually if that person sticks around and you guys move in the same direction.. I guess he'll become The One.

The mystery that I haven't figured out yet is: how do you know he's the one? From what my sister and other people that I know that are married or engaged say you just know. There's not a moment in your life when it hits you or a specific thing that he/she does like in the movies, you just know because you can't imagine your life without that person. This is particularly hard for me because I'm not one of those people that can't imagine my life without another person. I've always been very independent and I hate to dwell on the past. Maybe it's because I haven't met the right person yet, we'll see.

All in all, I believe that finding someone is easy but finding someone worthy of your time and energy is hard. But while you don't find that person enjoy the confusion. Being single (just like everything in life) is what you make of it. You can spend all your weekends home in your pajamas watching Netflix and wishing you had a boyfriend. Or you can go out and have fun with your friends. Take that time to figure out what you want in a partner and to just work on you - having no one but yourself to please is extremely liberating and you won't have that freedom for long (supposing you do want to have kids and settle down eventually).

I guess that's all the rambling I have for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed it and that it helped you in any way. As always, feel free to keep the conversation going. Let me know what you think and if you have any words of wisdom to share with us.

Thanks so much for reading and I'll talk to you soon!
