Another Book Haul.. Because I Can't Stop.

Heeeello, everyone!

Aham, I know.. I have a book buying problem, my mom already told me. I've been doing some changes, trying to work on myself, go to the gym more often, meditate, you know how these things go.. And I lost a some weight and have been doing really well mental health wise, so I wanted to reward myself. Since getting in shape and being more mindful of what I'm putting into my body is part of the process, I couldn't reward myself with food, so books it is! And let me tell you, I go some amazing books!

I did something that I totally wouldn't recommend, I read the first few pages of every book and now I want to read them all at once. I'm so glad they haven't disappointed me (yet) because I've been eyeing these for quite sometime now. There's a little bit of everything, I even got a youtuber book, which is something that I never thought I would do - granted that I only found out the book was written by a youtuber after buying it. No shade against youtbers, I was just never drawn to their books. Although I do want to read Shade Dawson's book because I think he's pretty awesome! Anyway, let's talk about the books I actually got this time!

How To Be Single - Liz Tuccillo // I've recently read He's Just Not That Into You and I had no idea that one of the authors who co-wrote it also wrote How To Be Single and that this book inspired the movie of the same title. I loved that movie so much! Me and my best friend (who is currently living in NY) watched this movie more times than I care to admit. After finding that out, I just had to get the book. I've started reading and, to be honest, I'm not really enjoying it but I think the story is going to pick up soon. I have high hopes for it!

We Should Hang Out Sometime - Josh Sundquist // Josh is also a youtuber. I've never watched his videos and I had never even heard of him, but one of my favorite booktubers - Chelsea from chelseadolling - said very good things about this book and I decided to pick it up. I'm in the mood for a funny read and she said he was very funny so I'm trusting her.. I mean, even the title is a little funny. I've read the first few pages and I really like it!

The Museum Of Extraordinary Things - Alice Hoffman // I think this is my favorite book cover of all time. Just look at it! Alice Hoffman also wrote Practical Magic, which is inspired one of my favorite movies of all time with Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman - it's actually the perfect movie for Halloween. Anyway, I think this one is going to be quite different, but I'm excited. It has pretty high ratings on GoodReads and I've seen a lot of people taking about it on the internet in general.

The Cuckoo's Calling - Robert Galbraith // Robert Galbraith is actually J.K. Rowling and I have to support my favorite author, right?! There, purchase justified! But, seriously, I've been meaning to read this book for quite a long time but I never got around to it. I've actually bought this book before but I gave it to my sister on her birthday because she really wanted something to read on the plane so I said she could choose anything from my book shelf and she picked this one. I got the e-book this time and I'm super pumped to read it. I'm pretty sure this is being turned into a TV show or a movie or something along those lines.

My Not So Perfect Life - Sophie Kinsella // She's not only one of my favorite author, but she's also one of my most read authors (if you missed that post you can read about it right here). My goal is to read every books she's ever written, I just love her wiring and her stories are always amazing and incredibly funny. I'm not really sure what this book is about, but like I've said before, I did read a couple of pages and it's good. I can't wait to get into it soon!

Those are all the books I've bought recently! I'm so excited to get to them, I literally including all of them on my November TBR - I can't wait. I was a reading slump these past few weeks, but I think I'm over it now. However, now we have the new season of Stranger Things, so I don't know how much reading I'll be able to do until I finish it!

Did you buy any books recently?!
What are you currently reading?!

Let's chat!

Thanks so much for stopping by and come back soon!
