My Favorite Movies To Watch On Halloween.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

If you're planning a movie marathon for halloween, you've come to the right place - that is if you're not a big fan of scary movies. If you're into the really scary stuff, you should go over to this post. I'm usually really scared of horror movies, but the ones on that list are totally worth the scare. However, today we're gonna talk about the not-so-scary movies. The cute, family-friendly, heart warming, Disney stuff!

There's a little bit of everything, but the majority of the these are feel-good movies, you know the ones you like to watch when you're feeling down to kinda boost your mood and get you excited about life again. This list also includes two of my all time favorite movies and I'm very protective of them, so save the hate comments for another post. Don't you come  for the Sanderson Sisters! Anyway, let's get to the good stuff!
Hocus Pocus // This is a classic. I'm not gonna lie, I've watched this movie two times already this month - It's one of my all time favorites. This is truly a Disney masterpiece. It's funny, family-friendly and it has Bette Milder and Sarah Jessica Parker as witches.. I mean, what more do you want? In my opinion, any halloween movie marathon is not complete without this movie.
The Craft // I was a little to obsessed with this movie when I was a teenager, but I totally get if you've never even heard of it - a friend of mine had no idea this movie was even a thing.. Needless to say, we're no longer friends. So, in this one a young girl moves to Los Angeles to start a new life with her dad. However, she kinda falls in with a bad crowd because she doesn't have any friends. These girls are super into witchcraft and dark stuff and weird things start to happen.
The Addams Family // This movie is the epitome of Halloween. And if you don't like it, I don't know if we can be friends.. I mean, we can but you'll have to change your mind about it. I don't think I need to explain the plot, the Addams are weird and dark and awesome and they do weird things. Wednesday is not only my favorite character, but also my spirit animal. I seriously cannot get enough of these movies. There three of them and I think you should watch them all and then you can thank me and we can discuss which one is the best on twitter.
The Haunted Mansion // The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite Disney rides. The ride is way better than the movie, but the movie is still pretty good. First of all, I love Eddie Murphy. Second of all, this movie is really funny - as you can imagine. This is a super family movie, but it will still get you in the Halloween spirit. I rewatched it for the umpteenth time yesterday and I just love it - this is one of those movies that I watch every year and somehow still manage to laugh at all the same jokes, kinda like Friends!
Practical Magic // This movie just warms my heart. I remember watching it for the first time with my mom and my sister while I was on summer break and I was obsessed. This one is about two very mysterious sisters that live in a  small town, so the movie has this super cute small town vibe that I love. Julia Roberts is the most talented, Nicole Kidman is the charming, sexy one. Nicole Kidman goes to California, Julia Roberts gets married and raises her two little girls. Her husband dies and she decides to go back to her childhood home and Nicole Kidman    comes back because of a bad relationship. Someone dies and a hot detective starts to investigate the case. I'm definitely not doing it justice, but trust me, this movie is good. It's about strong, independent woman and sisters supporting each other. I've recently discovered this was based on a book and now I just need to read it, I already ordered it on amazon.

Those are all the movies I have for you guys today! If you still more movie recommendations, you check out the list I put together last year - there only a couple of repeats, so it's worth checking it out. Let me know on the comments if you'd like to add anything to the list, I'm always looking for new recommendations. And also, let me know what are your plans for Halloween this year! We don't really celebrate it here where I live, so maybe I'll just finish watching Stranger Things, eat some vegan nachos and call it a night!

What are your Halloween plans?
What's your favorite not-so-scary movie?

Let's hang some more!

Thanks so much for reading and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
