5 Things I'm Excited To Do During The Holidays.

Heeeeello, everyone!
In my head we're already in December. Let's face it, the holidays are here and instead of fighting it, let's just enjoy it. Needless to say, I don't get the grinches of the world that get mad with premature Christmas decorations. It's fun, it's festive and it's sooo pretty. This is my favorite time of the year and I intend to take full advantage of it. I thought it would be fun to share with you guys some of the things I'm excited about doing this season. I have big plans and I already have my Christmas movies to watch list on my phone ready to go!
ONE // Bake cookies.
This is the one tradition me and sister started back in 2014 and we've been doing it ever since. We get together on the 23rd and be we bake Christmas themed deserts. We do gingerbread cookies, strawberry cake and apple pies. We have Micheal Bublé playing on the background and once we even brought a TV into the kitchen so we could watch movies while cooking - there weren't iPads back them (boy, writing this sentence made me feel old). This is one small thing that I honestly look for to every year. I have so much fun with my sister and we don't get nearly enough time together as I'd like.

TWO // Watch all the Christmas movies.
I never allow myself to binge watch stuff because I don't have enough self-control to stop myself. I'm just being honest here. I once watched Netflix for 12 hours straight, only stopping to go to the bathroom and make food (to eat in front of the TV) - that's not healthy and it's also kinda scary. So, whenever I have stuff to do I can't binge because I either have to wake up early the next day or get things done at the moment. HOWEVER, regular rules don't apply during this magical time of the year.

It's kinda like the entire world just stops to be happy and celebrate love, kindness and family. You want to binge? Binge away. You want to eat an entire apple pie? Go for it! I'm kidding, obviously, but you get what I'm saying. It's the time of the year where we're allowed to go a bit overboard and just have fun.

THREE // Put up my tree.
I still haven't done that. This past few weeks have been so chaotic. I've been applying to jobs and going on so many job interviews (I'm definitely not complaining) that I didn't have time to decorate anything. I want to put up my tree, put Christmas lights in every possible surface of my house and also put up my Christmas village. I can't wait!

FOUR // Read all the Christmas books.
I'm a book nerd and reading according to the seasons is one of my favorite things to do. That gets even more fun during the holidays because while some people get winter wonderlands, I get full on blazing Brazilian summer and it's fun to get lost in another world. I have a lot of Christmas books recommendations, so if you feel like being a seasonal reader too you can check them out right here!

FIVE // Chill by the pool.
I know this might sound weird to some people, but we're going into summer here in Brazil and chilling by the poll is one of my favorite things to do. I NEED a tan and I have so many books to get to that a couple of hours by the pool sounds like the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. And this reminds, I need a new bathing suit asap!

That's it for today, guys! Let me know on the comments what you're excited about doing during the holidays so we can chat about it and the Christmas spirit going. My plans for tonight include watching a Christmas movie and eating a lot of vegan pizza. Me and my friend just found this incredible vegan place in our area and we're obsessed. Talking about vegan food, if you're a vegan or vegetarian, what do you during the holidays? Do you make specially foods for you?

Do you have any fun Christmas traditions?
What are you the most excited for?
Have you put up your tree yet?

Let's chat!

Thanks so much for reading and come back soon!
