BLOGMAS // The Minimalism Game.

Heeello, everyone!

With the holidays coming and 2018 just around the corner, I wanted to do a major declutter - like most people. However, you guys know I've been implementing minimalism into my life for quite some time now and although I feel like clutter is an ongoing issue, I also feel like I've ran out of things to declutter. I know, it's weird. I feel like things are pilling up again but I've somehow built a resistance to declutter and I don't even know why. So, I thought the Minimalism Game could help.

I got this idea from the mothership of minimalism, The Minimalist. They have a wonderful documentary, a book and a super helpful and entertaining podcast. I'm high key obsessed with them if you couldn't tell and I cannot recommend checking out their website enough. So, here's the challenge or how the game works. It's actually pretty simple: day one you declutter one thing, day two you declutter two things.. I think you can guess how this ends, but here's the article explaining it!

I have no idea how I'm going to share my updates here on the blog, but I'm counting this as DAY ONE. Today I'm decluttering this T-Shirt. There's nothing wrong with it, it still fits me and I actually think it's pretty cute. I just have bad memories attached to it. I bought it on a weird day and I wore it on another weird day when I was fighting with a friend. And also, I don't even like it that much. Hopefully, this is going to someone that will actually enjoy wearing it!
That's all for today! Let me know on the comments how you'd like to see the updates. I think I'll combine a couple of days, specially in the beginning since there will be less items. I'm super excited about doing this and the goal is to keep this up for an entire month (30 days) and that would make my end date the 20th of January. As for the items I'm decluttering, unless stated otherwise, the will be donated to my local church. I'm not big on selling stuff online, but if you'd like anything I'm donating and you're willing to pay for shipping, I can send it to you.

How you'd like to see the updates?
Have you ever done anything like this?

Let's hang some more!

Thanks so much for reading and I'll talk to you soon!
