Reading Wrap-Up // December, 2017.

Heeeello, everyone!

Today was a crazy day for me. From the moment I woke up it was go, go, go. It's 19:30 here and I'm only now getting some time for myself to just relax. I ate a salad (because I'm sticking to my New Year's diet and resolutions), made myself a cup of ice tea (because it's summer here and I'm literally melting) and I'm finally working on the blog. I know I'm a bit late with my Reading Wrap-Up, but I just had other things I had to put up before it, like my Minimalism Game updates - hope you're enjoying those!

But today, we talk about books. December wasn't the most productive reading more for me, but it was still pretty good. I managed to read four books and I enjoyed all of them. None of them were 5 stars, but they were still pretty good. I finally read Confessions Of A Shopaholic and I squeezed in a short christmassy story, so I'm happy. My goals for January are to just keep reading, I don't have a certain goals I want to reach! You can follow my reading progress on GoodReads, though!
Beware That Girl - Teresa Toten // I really enjoyed this book. Howeveeeeeer... It left me wanting more. I was so into all the secrecy and the fact that our main character was basically living a second life. I loved all the manipulating and the drama and the mystery. I just felt like the big plot twist was a bit underwhelming. I liked the book, I'm glad I read it and I would gladly red more of Teresa Toten's books - they're just not at the top of my list right. And also, this has nothing to do with gossip girl. I saw a lot of people comparing the two, but I'm sorry I just just don't see it.

Confessions Of A Shopaholic - Sophie Kinsella // This book was really cute. Totally and completely different from the movie, which, in my humble opinion, is better but it was still pretty good. I think everyone knows the plot, but it's about this journalist who is addicted to shopping opening her eyes to the real world and changing her lifestyle.

The Christmas Secret - Jeannie Watt // I wanted a festive christmas book and I got it! This was a super cute (and super short) story about a girl who decides to hide away in her cabin for the holidays since her ex-boyfriend is marrying another girl on the day she was planning her own wedding the year before. However, there's a turn of events and a really cute and really hot guy knocks on her door and they're forced to spend a couple of days together alone in the cabin. I loved this andI highly recommend it!

Broken Prince - Erin Watt // I promised myself I wouldn't keep reading these books, but here I am. This is book two of The Royals series. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the characters, but the story is super addicting. It's a totally unrealistic plot, there's a lot of high school drama and a lot of sexy scenes - not my usual cup of tea. However, I flew through this book, I read the whole thing in two days and I'm already reading the next book.

Those are all the books I read in December and I'm happy with it. If you'd love to know more about the books, you can check my reviews on GoodReads. I could have done better, but the holidays is always a crazy time here in my house, there are a lot of birthdays in my family and a lot of food to prepare so that was the best I could do. My goal this year is to read a lot more, so please let me know if you have any recommendations as well as your favorite reads of 2017 - I do not need more excuses to buy books, but I would love to know.

Have you read any of these books?
What were your favorite reads of 2017?

Let's chat!

Thanks so much for reading and come back soon!
