Reading TBR // February, 2018.

Heeeello, everyone!

Guys, I'm gonna be honest.. I'm not (usually) one of those people that sees every Monday or the beginning of a new month as a fresh start. I believe that it's important to see the big picture and to start over as many times as you need, however we all have busy lives and I believe that in order to have consistency and to achieve big goals we sometimes need to plan things in advance, so it's not always possible to keep "starting fresh" all the time.

HOWEVER, I'm gonna have to be one of those people this month. January was a month of ups and downs - I started a new job, I learned how to properly invest my money like a grownup and I planed a trip for later in the year. On the other hand, I discovered that I have a "thing" in my uterus and I was in the hospital for three days straight... so you know, ups and downs.

As for my reasons, which is what this post is supposed to be about, I think I did pretty well - I read four books in January and they were all pretty good (with one exception). I want to do better in February and I'm writing this post to keep myself in check. I really want to get to this books this month because having too many books on my TBR pile gives me anxiety. So, I'm gonna stop rambling and we're gonna get to the books!
Neanderthal Seeks Human - Penny Reid // I got this book in one of my "bargain huntings" through kindle, which usually happens when I'm bored and start browsing through the free e-books section - I've found some hidden gems this way (you can check them out here!). I decided to download this one because the title and the cover were super cute and catchy. I already started reading it and I'm really enjoying it so far.

On The Fence - Kasie West // Last month I listened to By Your Side and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to try another Kasie West romance. I got this as an audiobook too because I enjoy listening to cute romances whilst I'm driving to and from work. I'm 40% in and, to be honest, I think By Your Side was better. I don't know why, but I'm not connecting to the main character and I think the narrator's voice is really annoying - I'm pushing through, though!

We Should Hang Out Sometime - Josh Sundquist // I got this book so many months ago (you check out that book haul here) that's actually embarrassing that I still haven't read it. Apparently, this book was written by a famous youtuber. I saw someone saying great things about it and I decided to pick it up. After buying it, I watched about of Josh's videos and I'm really glad I have this book now - he is hilarious! I'm really looking forward to reading it, maybe I'm start this weekend!

I kept my TBR short this month because I decided to only share the books that I'm 100% committed to reading this month. I know that reading is a hobby and I'm not supposed to pressure myself about it, but I really want to start making some progress on my enormous TBR pile. I'm really going to curb my book shopping this year because things are getting a bit out of hand. I know some bloggers and booktubers have millions of books on bookshelves around their houses, but I do not have all that space in my apartment - which is why I already do most of book shopping with my kindle.

Anyway, these are the book I'm planning on reading this month. Let me know on the comments what are you currently reading or which books to you plan on reading in the month of February. May this new month be the fresh start some of us need or the beautiful continuation to the good work you're already doing! Have a WONDERFUL month, guys!

What's on your February TBR?!
