BOOKS // May TBR.

Heeeello, everyone!

I know we're already in the middle of May and my TBR is actually quite late, but better late than never, right? Life has been so busy lately that I haven't had the time to do anything besides working, studying and going to the gym.. occasionally. Having said that, I feel like a TBR will be the perfect way for me to stay motivated to read this month. I'm so behind on my GoodReads Reading Challenge is not even funny. However, I feel like this is the month I'm catch up. I've already started on two of these books and I have high hopes for all of them.

Laura Lamont's Life In Pictures - Emma Straub // I bought this book 3 years ago and I'm only getting to it now - that's how long my TBR is. I'm currnetly on page 100 and something and, to be honest, I'm not loving it. This is the first book I've read by this author and I'm not really enjoying the writing style. I feel like nothing really happens, the main character is a bit boring and the overall plot is not very exciting. I'm still in the beginning, so maybe thing will pick up soon!

Summer And The City - Candace Bushnell // I'm obsessed with Sex And The City, the TV show and the movies, so I decided to give this one a try. I've only read about 50 pages and I'm already loving it. It's funny, exciting... a real page turner so far! I'm excited about it!

We Are Okay - Nina LaCour // I absolutely loved Everything Leads To You and I've been meaning to read more of Nina LaCour's book ever since. I think this is her newest release and I have really high hopes for it. I'm not really sure what this is about, actually. I know there's something to do with lost and getting over traumatic events, I'm just not really sure what those events are. I've seen a lot of people saying great things about it, I'm excited!

All Summer Long - Dorothea Benton Frank // I've this book on my TBR for way too - I feel like that's the theme of this TBR: books I've had for too long and need to get to. Anyway, I bought this for the cover, but the reviews are actually pretty postive online. I think I've read something from this author before, but I can't remember what. I love books set in the summer, so I have very high expectations!

Those are all the books I'm planning on reading this month. This TBR is actually a bit ambitious. I've got a lot going on this month and I have no idea when I'll have the time to get to all of these books, specially now that I'm trying to get back into blogging and following a schedule, but I'll try my best. If you've read my last Life Update, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Let me know on the comments which books you're planning on reading this month, I'd love to know!

What's on your May TBR?

Let's chat!

Thanks so much for reading and come back soon!
