About the blog

Let Me Cross Over was born in the middle of the night. After a lot of self-doubt and overthinking I was like: You know what? f*** it, I'm doing it! I've always wanted to create a blog and I was tired of worrying about what other people would think. I wanted a place where I could share my thoughts, talk to people with similar interests and just see where things would go.

This is my little corner of the internet where I write about everything. Literally everything, from books to makeup, traveling and a lot of advice posts. Although I'm not really sure I'm qualified to give a lot of advice so be a little cautions while reading those posts.

One last thing, keep in mind that I love hearing from you guys! The best part about having a blog is connecting with different people 'cause without that blogging is a very solitary hobby and nobody likes to feel lonely. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to keep up with this blog. So, thank you and I hope you enjoy what you read!
About me

I'm Michele. I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I've graduated in International Relations last year and now I'm currently in the painful but extremely exciting process of finding a job, my place in the world and what the heck I'm supposed to do with my life. But I won't spoil the fun for you, you can read all about that in my Life Update posts. And yes, we do a lot of those around here!

When I'm not busy obsessing over the future, you can find me blogging, reading (I do a lot of that), studying (yeah, I'm one of those crazy people who graduates but keeps studying), shopping (I do a lot of that too), traveling (or making traveling plans), playing with my cat (when she's not busy hating me) or going out with my friends. I also watch a lot of YouTube and Netflix.

If you still have other questions for me please don't hesitate to ask on the comments and I'll happily answer them back as soon as possible.

You can also reach me at Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

I feel like I did all the talking.
Why don't you introduce yourself too ?

    1. Hi, girl! Curacao sounds amazing. I've never been there but I've seen lots and lots of pictures. Thanks so much for stopping by and come back soon! :)

  2. I love your blog design and the posts of yours that I have read so far have been really cool. :) Great blog!

    1. Hi, Nabila!
I'm sorry it took me this long to answer this comment, but I hardly ever check my about page! Thanks so much for your nice comment and I'm so happy you are enjoying the blog. Comments like this really make my day! :)

  3. Him Michelle! I come from Michigan... which is a long ways from your hometown! But I find your interests similar to mine and hope we can swap ideas and laugh over this blog. I am excited to read and learn all about you, gal... what shall I read first though? God bless. (BTW, I didn't see anything about your religion, are you a fellow Christian? I am and try to shine God's light through my comments. Thanks!)

    1. Oops, I just realized after reading a pg in your blog that I cannot comment since I don't have an email account, but know that I am reading them! Any suggestions????

    2. Hi, Paige!
Thanks so much for stopping by and reading my post, it means a lot! About my religion, I was raised Catholic, but I don't really go to church or anything. I do believe in God and I try my best to be a good person in every situation of my life, though! I hope you enjoy reading my posts and I'm looking forward to chatting with you! And in regards of what you should read next, I would start with my current posts since they are pretty true to what I'm experiencing at the moment! :)

  4. Omg how did you design your blog it's so cute!

    1. Thanks so much, Courtney! This means so much. It was mostly trial and error and a lot of online research.. If you're looking to change things up on your blog, I would recommend using Canva - it's a very easy to use website and it's free! :)
